    once you listen to Batman begins a few times you definately hear that there are themes present.

    So has WotW, but as I said, not as strong as I had hoped (i.e. Jurassic Park theme, Batman '89 theme).

    Beautiful, breathtaking and heartbreaking at the same time. Perfect, like the movie itself.

    The LOTR soundtrack is also one of the best ever.

    Like I said in the BB thread, I was very dissapointed in the Batman Begins soundtrack. Very standard stuff, IMO. Doesn't even come close to Elfman's Batman (1989) soundtrack.

    But religion is religion, not speculation. What makes religion naive is that they blindly believe whatever it is that they believe in and call any other view blasphemy (referring mostly to christianity).

  • Batman Begins

    Just saw it, very nice.

    The fights could've been clearer, though. The fight at the docks was good the way it was, chaotic and unclear, but all the fights were like that. I also really wanted it to have a stronger musical theme. A revised version of Danny Elfman's Batman theme would've been superb. Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard (this film had both of them!) usually deliver but this time I was slightly dissapointed in the score.

    Otherwise a very fine movie, but I'm too fond of the first two to call this the best one.

    I'm also a little confused about one thing:

    In Burton's Batman Wayne's parents were killed by Jack "The Joker" Napier but in this one the killer was some guy named Chill. Who is it in the comic books?

    Ok, let's compare. In America schools teach religion as facts, in Finland schools teach the facts of religion. Probably stupid to compare America to Finland, but it is the truth.

    Results: Most of the young people in America believe in God while most young people in Finland don't.

    If I want my future children to believe something, it's not that hard to make them believe that (especially religion). As years go by it doesn't necessarily become a choice for them to stop believing anymore because they already do and it has become sort of a habit and a big part of their lives as daily rituals (going to church, praying etc.).

    One last thing: how many American award shows have you seen where most people don't thank Jesus/God (sometimes even for everything they've ever achieved). How do you think this affects the millions of younglings that idolize the winners.
