aware of the danger that i come across feeding the trolls, in this screenshot they have some weird shit going on... like the normal map of that dune still getting bright waves on the shadow side and the walls just stick straight out of the sand with no transition. the game will probably be awesome none the less and this is just minor shit in one screenshot but it still catches attention.

you really can't (or shouldn't) try and bundle everything together and come up with a stupid statistic - for a medium that is so diverse. Just like that develop top 100 game studios based on recent meta critic scores

wow that looks so cool
for the light, can project a texture light and set spec to 0 - if you don't know already find the property on any light (projected texture or something) we don't support hl2 style emissive lighting.
come to think of it, you might need to add lots of small radius point lights to get the spec looking right

helder would be better to answering this, but u might get better results lowering spec of your lights, adding intense projected lights, setting materials to nice and glossy and baking some tasty environment cubmaps to get that clean metalic look - you can capture the cubemap with lights and stuff disabled if you get better results, can add them to a new layer for ease of use ... all depends how detailed your willing to go

wot crock o'shit - actually average purchase prob is 38, parents buying games for their kids

I know a "few" 38+ actual gamers, but 90% under 30 ...

I played rift for 2 months, stunning MMORPG both visually and design, needed more content and depth but other than that it is such an achievement

Your art looks pimp

That's the best looking CE3 map I've ever seen.
its got that modern art feeling, so pretty

yeah we'll prob do a mapcore gamescom meetup since not everyone is going to gdc beforehand - anyone else from core going?
-
basically its missing prop scale details

sometimes I dunno why artists insist on awesome monitors when all their work gets covered in post process crap anyway
oh and for game development your better off getting an average tv than pc monitor *for checking colors and overall composition*that being said you do need dual monitors
in a perfect world they would be matched -
hes about one of the only few people in this industry i'd sit there for hour and a half and listen to

just finished watching the mummy 3, was actually quite good in that cheesy over the top way, setting is kinda like uncharted 2

last harry poter film was awesome, really really good and epic :embarrassed:

all I have to say to this model is

-
it's quite simple, make an actual game that works on new technology and people will start to take interest!

Well the majority is animatronics, so it would look better
Although some of the CG scenes are still golden, such a great movie ...
