I spent 2 days thinking up this levelname so you better like it. And sure is resetting gamma to 1.0 in the last minute and discover it's so freakin' dark!

To use all the textures and stuff from Half-Life, extract the entire 'valve'-folder in 'half-life.gcf' with GFCscape to your HL directory.

Took a few levels for a spin after installing the DX11 patch with High Res textures. Welp, the game does look a lot better now, makes one wish it was like this on release. In most areas my FPS was around 50-40, but what is up with every sewer area? Every time I got into a sewer, the framerate dropped like a rock.

With my head full of ideas, I would have to settle for one of the following:

- Sandbox game that is like Wurm Online, with just as much or more complexity, but of course with a more up-to-date engine.

- RTS game inspired by Warzone 2100 (now open source and free), with focus on being able to design everything.

- Action/horror game set in the modern day that plays in 3rd person or like DMC, with a protagonist with 3 different playstyles. Inspiration from Spawn, Gungrave, Prototype, etc.

- Planetside-ish MMOFPS like 2d-chris described, with players being able to also build structures (bunkers, re-arm stations, walls, etc) where ever they please (except inside of an enemy base sphere of influence), but not as fast as in Starhawk. Lots of customization as well, allowing players to train and spend points into specific weapons to unlock attachments, modifiers (i.e: +10% accuracy) etc.

I could probably prototype any of these but then that requires programming and my head hurts from seeing any code :<

There's a suppression system in the next Red Orchestra too, so it could become a trend in more shooters.

The whole initial presentation of MW3 felt drawn out and boring, with very little actual shooting. It was more or less on-rails with the occasional "PRESS X TO DO SOMETHING". And the boat-run scene? All baddies got explosive barrels on their boats for some reason. The whole thing felt very "been there, done that", adding nothing new to the MW-franchise. It sure as hell has gone down the shitter since COD4:MW
