Some new recorded footage from the new map Death Valley :
What's up with blue tint on everything and the moon brighter than a thousand suns? D:
Hey I paid for the deluxe version as soon as it got up .. and guess what? I havn't played a single game online, cause I know I will just get pissed.
Since PS3-players can already play Armored Kill, because EA and Sony are bedmates, people have found an interesting little detail on one of the new maps:

This was posted on their Facebook page about 19 hours ago:
Ensuring the best possible play experience for our fans is our highest priority. We’ve said before that we would be willing to temporarily disable first-party digital sales if we felt our high player concurrency may compromise player experiences. We have now reached that point.Effective immediately we have disabled sales via buy.guildwars2.com. To be clear, box and digital sales are still available via our retail partners. We are tracking our concurrency closely while expanding our infrastructure. We’ll re-enable first-party digital sales as soon as we feel that we can do so safely. ~RB2
Trading Post is still down, since the headstart a week ago. And guesting isn't up until the free server transfer period is over.
Quote from marksErrrr, what?
A variable that locks CT and T to one model/skin.
Or you can just misread that...
Planetside 2 Beta starts this Monday @ 2pm PDT , and its closed beta because of invites.
I'm already in
No beta this week either. In the meantime, here's another reason to play TR:
Quote from TaylorI just finished watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Quote from ThrikMan, looks excellent. Definitely going to get back into BF3 with this, and will make sure I time buying a new GPU at roughly the same time.
Is there anything in Close Quarters that's actually worth having apart from the maps, like killer weapons?
The new weapons from Close Quarters are actually quite good. Really good even. The AUG A3 for Assault is great all around , the MTAR for Engineer is hipfire king (and has the highest rate of fire of all carbines, making you the victor is almost any close combat) when equipped with a laser, the L86A2 for Support is an LMG with the accuracy of an assault rifle, the M417 for Recon is superior to any other semi-auto sniper plus JNG-90 is also the superior choice for bolt action rifles. For all class weapons, the SPAS-12 is a great alternative to the old trusty 870MCS because of higher rate of fire. The rest of the unlockable weapons aren't too shabby either but the ones I mentioned are favored the most.
Quote from DarkFinally, an expansion worth buying! Looks epic!
Since most of us got Premium, we just sit and wait.
And I pray for new RPGs for Engineer, and it looks like there is a new all-class semi-automatic rifle similar to the M14 Mod 0 from Bad Company 2 (I loved that thing when you finally could slap scopes on it). The Carl Gustav RPG is a legend in Bad Company, it needs to be in BF3! And the AT4 ... can't have enough swedish RPGs.
Oh and DICE, can we have the Thompson and Garand too?
Finished Max Payne 3 (one of many games bought during this Steam sale) last night, and I liked it
So .... Battlefield 2143?
Frank Castle up in this bitch!
Right ... with the upcoming beta weekend (July 20-22), ArenaNet have been handing out thousands of beta-keys left and right, so I don't think anyone has missed that if you have an interest for this. If you havn't heard of the avalanche of keys, I think they'll hand out even more next week through community websites and shit.
The next BWE is also the FINAL beta weekend, and for the first time we'll be able to create the 2 other races that have been disabled until now : Asura & Sylvari (I have already decided to main an Asura Engineer come release).
And in case you missed, ArenaNet did a 25 minute livestream talking about the game (and revealing changes, i.e. skillpoints can be used at the mystic forge) and answering a few questions: http://www.twitch.tv/guildwars2/b/324689481 (begins at about 4 minutes in)
Just bought it, played a bit, and then the game froze
just when I started killing guidos (felt good) in the bar during a flashback sequence

and it just went open beta
Watched The Raid (also known as "The Raid: Redemption") last night, was pretty cool.
