you guys are turning me off to it! lol

F.E.A.R. is a lot like Halo: repetative level design coupled with heavenly combat, and, much like Halo, it really comes alive on higher difficulties. Don't pass it up.

Same advertising group made them both. Which is also why Mikey's BIA audio sample appears in the COD commerical.

    That's FUBAR.

The ads were Godawful, for sure. It was hard to tell the difference between the CoD ones and the BiA ones, such was the level of mediocrity; hardly representative of the respective games, and hardly making for good television.

But yeah, this is Brazil. I guess the climate demands it.

    Pro Evo 5 (as always).

    Football Manager 2006.

    F.E.A.R. on the hardest difficulty.

    Mmm.

Edit: Actually, the above doesn't do this mod justice. The art direction's quality and consistency is out of this world, and I really don't think the gameplay will fail us either. I'm excited to say the least.

that would suggest its episode one of the aftermath and they will probably not want that. "episode 2" will probably be about something totally different (or atleast i hope so)

It's no worse than 'Half-Life 2: Episode One', which suggests we're getting the first episode of an adventure we've already completed.

"Episode One" clarifies that it is episodic, but at the same time, feels wierd as it suggests it is the start of something while really a whole lot too place already. "Aftermath" suggests the opposite - that it is the end - which in my opinion makes it sound anything BUT episodic!

Well, to me 'Aftermath' just suggests the consequences of previous actions, not necessarily the end of anything.

But how about 'Aftermath: Episode 1'?

"Saw it coming"? It was always going to be this way.

The only thing that has changed is the name: 'Aftermath' to 'Episode One', which is dire in my opinion. 'Aftermath' had the right amount of impact.

Not quite that bad, but the pacing is terrible and it leaves you hanging in the most negative sense.
