I think you should fire your drummer, they were really really really really awful!

haha halocaust

I think you somehow should try to get the smudge down there to rotate as well, looked a little weird when only the clouds rotated to its center, but it didn't rotate at all. I was thinking maybe more like black clouds on top of hard red background (not the warm wine color you have now), with streaks of harsh blue lightning, but that might be a little hard to produce i guess

http://%7boption%7dAdded some colour to it, seems to be a bit better.
Off to bed now!
Looks a little better, but perhaps you should go for harsher colors and not something warm, I'd also try mr. happys suggestion with maybe some dark clouds and lightning

I think its a shitty map step, you did a terrible job!

not too sound really harsh, but psycho is kind of right, its Half-Life style blocky

wow.
Thanks a lot, I had already dotted down 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7, so the rest is just great
I'm wondering what you mean with 6 and 8 though, those terms are unfamiliar...Looks like I have a lot of reading to do if I am to cover all of this.

You guys are forgetting that windows has support for quad cores, so that means I can listen to music while having 3d studio max, photoshop, firefox with loads of tabs, opera and internet explorer up with the same tabs, and run world in conflict on max settings at the same time...
..-And then start a compile which will, even now, take 10x less time than my previous cpu (amd xp 3000+).
Suck on that.

I'm having a university paper in one of my classes that is about online gaming and problems surrounding it. It's mostly about technical stuff like problems surrounding network and games design.
There's a couple of questions I was hoping you guys could pitch in on maybe explaining or referring to places where you learned this :] I find the topic very interesting, and while I'm browsing the web for related articles that might give answers, I thought I'd get a discussion going and maybe tap into that wealth of information in your brains

I have to figure out what challenges that lies in networking when we talk about delays and packet loss and describe some techniques to compensate for this. I also need to know how online games try to prevent cheating, (from VAC/Punkbuster to how WoW handles botting), and how this affect games design.
I was also hoping you guys could mention a couple of good API's and tools (network libraries) that is related to games development. (XNA?).
peace~

It's a licensed Engine which I unfortunately cannot give details off during the current NDA status. If you want more spefic details on it feel free to email and we can arrange them, but all I can say on forums is that it is a AAA Tier Engine with a mature toolset. The Engine is being widely adopted by the industry.
I am interested, but the ww2 is a big turn down

-
Admittedly, I didn't search very well, but what kind of engine are you running this on, and if its something you guys have made, what kind of editor will you be using for your levels?
-
yeah I've noticed the same thing in other source games..
-
what was friechamp doing in your bookshelf?
-
Its pretty clear that you have copy pasted the timbers, I'd work on that

Good job at recreating the game guys! really felt like tf!
