    Long time no post...

Some nice stuff in this thread.

I had an urge to do something different than the usual stuff I do

so this is what I came up with.

A space ship door I think.

Wanted to combine old mechanical look with something high tech.

I would love nothing more than sitting and discussing everything from tilable environment textures and alpha mapped decals to specularity maps for characters and plugins for unwrapping, the entire day long. Am I the only one who burns for texture work to the exclusion of most anything else(okay that's not entirely true)?

Hear ya, Yeah u go ahead and start that brand new world,

and the rest will follow you into the promissed land, go now...

Yeah some nice stuff you've done here marque, but I find it very hard to

give critics on something with cartoon looks, suddenly every rule

gets tossed out the window, well almost...

All I can say is it looks nice and cartoony!

    Anyways GJ!

    Nice work.

I cant help but feel there is something wrong with the perspective,

the dishes or circle plates seem to be veiwed on different hight levels,

maybe it's just me but it looks strange.

But again that ads a scary distorting feel to it so maybe it's intended...

That some nice work there Marque!

The grass is extremly fluorecent though, but that might be intended.

And the twist or sharp bend in the plamtree looks unnatural and is

not to pleasing to my eye, but it might just be me...

Hmm are they bland? Maybe it's because of the style, I tried to make

them in a fashioned theme, but it's not something I'm used to do though.

    Oh well...
