Well, actually it looks like they've gotten the Phantom Lapboard out, thats close enough

    http://kotaku.com/335993/phantom-lapboa ... y-released

Ha ha, ya i saw. I was like "Fuck there goes my joke".

I can say that 3Drealms haven't handle this really well. Sure they don't owe us anything but if you want to keep your fans (and expecting them to pay for the game when its eventually out) you should act like salesmen and keep the interest up, maybe a blog or some updates every now and then not just a "When it's done".

I agree that its meaningless to show something that won't even make it in the final version but at least some sign of life.

Thanks, but are photos like flickr really free? I don't wanna use someones face and then get sued to the moon. How is it to scan photos from a school catalog, is it free to use (with good taste off course) or does the photographer earn the rights to the photos even if you scanned the photo?

btw: by nerd imean photos like this

    Hey

I wonder were I can find pretty high quality photos of "nerds" and "geeks" (think Bill Gates mug shoot or Ben Stiller in "about mary")

The photos would be used on products such as dishrags, cups or notebooks therefor it must be legal to use them and not be any copyright.

I don't know were to find them or if its legal to ask you guys to scan some in from some old high school book (to ask is legal, but is it to use them?) Any tips or ideas?

btw i searched some photosites but then its just guys dressed as nerds and it isn't as funny as a real one.

    Help please!

I agree with Curman, take BIA for example. They hired a ex military guy to get it as realistic and made you use real life tactics to win the game (prolly wrong game to blame in mapcore )

The difference from me and Jack "Shit" Thompson is that I don't blame the games for buying that gun and shooting that people, it's the 2 eyes behind the screen that does that.

What I'm saying is that games can work as a inspiration source but so does everything else (Playboy makes boys worship the paintbrush while advertisement makes girls believe boys have 6 pack brown short hair and a perfect smile)

And another great inspiration is the newspaper the coming days. Here is one of Sweden's biggest http://%7boption%7d* newspaper with everything from his manifest to graphics how he entered the school and the minutes the bullets was fired.

    * If you know you have a weak psych and planning on killing people, don't look at the link for inspiration

I believe that games CAN infact have something to do with it, but so can movies, music, tv-shows and even books.

I mean it's easier to get the thoughts after playing it, seeing it, hearing it or even reading it but don't get me wrong, I also believe there is a huge difference in blaming games as the cause of practically raising the kid, buying the gun and pulling the trigger, there have after all been mass murderers and psycho's long before games.

So as a inspiration, sure we can blame games, but then don't forget that any other seeing, hearing or reading experience whenever or not it's theater, movies, music, street violence ya basically anything can also be held for this.

And to make the formula complete, mix it all with one not so very healthy brain.

Offcourse games didn't do it, but did they bring up the thoughts?

There is this dude who right now (if they havent caught/killed him) is inside a school in Finland andhave shoot 4 and killed 1 (prolly more as story unfolds)

    Here are his youtube

http://%7boption%7d and by looking at that I realise that they hardly coulden't got any clearer messages (Im refering to Jokela High School Massacre - 11/7/2007)

There is alot of videos of his including Columbine, various nazis and offcourse the tribute to Hitman 45, so lets just sit back and watch the whole "games made him do it" discussion in paper in the comming days

Sorry for sounding so ironic when human lifes are lost, my condolences to everyone affected.

I wonder if I ever will be able to get such a big tread as the circumsicion one again...oh well let's give it a try

    I found this notice

    http://%7boption%7d

and I wonder, whats the diffrence between a racist joke and a anti-semitic one?

Imagine Miss Berry would show a photo of her in the early teens with really bad theeths and say "Here is were I look like my english cousin" would that be a anti-brittish joke then? or if she stretched her eyes and said "Here is were I look like my chinese cousin" would that be a anti-asia joke?

What I try to understand is why it's worse to hint that jews have big noses then (for example) brittish people have bad theets. And how something can be anti-semitic and not just racist or a "bad joke".

So, I was in a store today and touched (ha ha) the new Ipod touch, I fell in love with it in 0,34milliseconds and I'm strongly thinking of buying it. Now i wonder if you guys have it /tried it, Im especially interested in the web browser (flash support? any cons?) I'm more into the machine as a showcase for my photos and surfing then for the music but sure, I listen to music most of my train trip so it will be good

I want your thought on it!

Yes, keep it serious (altho some jokes may tickles me)

According to the program the bits weren't heading to McDonalds but rather to the cosmetic industry (when they called the hospitals they said that they just threw it away)

Thats the device I was talking about, they said the kids often got into chock (really?!)

    Here´s a more chocking image

I recommend you guys to watch the show "Bullshit", maybe some mapcorian have it on thier HDD?
