I agree with some of his points but I can't stop thinking that when he went to my school everyone agreed he was just a jackass and cocky. I never met the person myself so I shall refrain from judgement, but for someone who is so realtively new to the industry he has some solid opinions. Just pick and take from the batch that you like.

you need to paint on highlights or a specular map to get away from the plastic feel. Than you need to remove the cloudiness because metal doesn't look like that often.

i'm absolutely LOVING it. Maybe some of the darker shots get pools of light on the floor to guide players? otherwise...very sexy

I'm assuming its fake. Eitherway I'm going to buy it for myself and not listen to other people. They describe games as "fun" but what is "fun" for them? What "looks nice" to them.

All the fingers are meant to be "spread out" for rigging purposes. The arms are gonig to be in a cloak so I'm not defining muscular except for the curvature of how a gown would go over the body. But I'll keep working on the hands. Tonight will be mostly spent fixing the head's shape.
