well after testing a little and fighting with a few bugs I've decided to go back to Firefox for the time being. Chrome is a good browser but needs more polishing before it really makes sense to use it.

guys remember this is still only in beta...so there will still be some problems..

i had one today on facebook while i was browsing a photo gallery, i was clicking on an image and it would keep bringing me to image 29 instead of the image i clicked on... that was kind of weird.

but yeah im sure they will fix this stuff for the full release...

If it ain't broken, dont fix it... I think the core is fine the way it is... No need cluttering it with useless graphics and themes..

So far, everytime we've tried to make an interesting front page for Mapcore we failed. LOL. So yeah, I agree with everything Thrik said... Mapcore is a forum community. Not an industry news site.

i also love how you HAVE to use Internet Explorer to download any windows updates from the Microsoft website...

so after paying $50 service fee it turns out that the stupid ass technician formatted my D drive which he was not supposed to as I told him.... a ton of personal files....gone

currently trying to recover part of it ...

so apparently the hard drive cable was a bit lose which might have caused the problem. the guy formatted my drive and re-installed windows and it SEEMS to be working now... will test it later when I get home...

Yeah but really, how likely is that? also, i unplugged the cable from the camera, not from the back of the computer.

We'll see what the technician says. Maybe the blue screen and my pc dieing had nothing to do with it at all and the two events just happened to occur around the same time. Could be. I asked the IT guy at Eidos and he said I did nothing wrong and that it could be a RAM or HDD problem.
