How about reading what i actually write. I am talking about Holland here. They dont have to abandon their religion, we fund their schools and mosques (how many times i gotta say it?) there is barely racism towards them, except a few days last year when an islamist shot and beheaded a famous dutchy. Its more the other way around. Most of em are fine, but there really is a group of immigrant teenagers which assault us for fun trying to cause riots, no matter how complex you want to believe it is. They have no demands, they dont want things to change and dont want contact with us. They arent restricted, not religiously or culturally. They have the right to build schools and mosques, which we let them do like rabbits for years.

But apparently this approach doesnt work, society is changing now, they dont like it. Dealing with the problems isnt racism, its the law. They dont have the right not to integrate, which is what we let them do. When a gang of moroccans assault police, we cant even use the word moroccan, but have to use North African, or they have another reason to riot

What do you know about how we treat foreigners here? We fund their schools, they have social security, they get the same diplomas as me , they arent poor and certainly not discriminated. They dont want to integrate, they want us to adapt to their way of life, want more mosques, more islamic schools, easy jobs and marry someone back in Morocco so the entire family can move to Holland. They cant send home ppl that have been born in france, which alot of them are. Why is it so strange for islam to have anything to do with it? These ppl live their life how islam tells em to, their whole social environment consists of muslims, the mosque , their own islamic shops and they grow up between frustrated ppl telling them how much the western world sucks or that they failed the job interview because theyre muslim

The way theyre treated by the french has more to do with religion than anything. The french dont like radical islam because they waged war against it in Algeria not so long ago. Its probably the main reason why these gettos are what they are. Muslims want respect now, which ofcourse isnt gonna happen by burning stuff, and the ppl organizing it know it. You cant say islam has nothing to do with whats happening, right now it is a way to control the mobs

Well it is mostly muslims, screaming ALLAHU AKBAR on the streets. The riots were about to calm down the 5th day but then a teargas grenade was shot inside a mosque and it really began. Also ppl suspect extremists are organizing it and trying to start a guerilla civil war

Well then Kosmo, there are other countries which are alot worse. The US is pretty bad when it comes to stuff like war and treatment of prisoners tho

Over here (holland) theres kinda a debate about wether islam is a problem or not. Some ppl think it isnt, that islam has nothing to do with the violence, and others think it has. The funny thing is, a somali muslim woman (a refugee) in our government says islam is the root of the problem. Basically she says islam is peaceful, but extremely open to extremist influences. She doesnt hate islam and shes still a muslim, but she hates extremists. She says a few dozen (in holland) are violent extremists, a few thousand are supportive of the extremist ideas, and the giant

majority of muslims is peaceful but says islam is perfect and it cant be a problem. If you say their religion is peaceful, but open to extremist influences, theyre outraged. Needless to say she lives in constant hiding and several extremists carrying machineguns or pistols and a hitlist with her name on it(and many others)have been arrested.

I dont know how it is in the US, but over here when you insult the quran, you need protection from extremists. If you make a comic about muhammed, or a movie, or a painting whatever, the peaceful majority of muslims condemns you, and when you get killed, theyre shocked and say "Killing is bad, but you know its dangerous to insult islam, you should have known, youd still be alive today". That kinda sums up the problem. How can it be dangerous, and not be a problem?

And then there are ppl who want to be politically correct at all times afraid to be called racist (i know its not a race), they probably think they are racist if they do connect islam to the problem. I said in another thread here that i thought islam had something to do with terrorism, and i was told to GTFO and never come back. It has nothing to do with racism or hating the religion. Christianity had such a time, its in the history books. If you dont want to admit that islam can have anything to do with the problem, you must be quite sure that religion is perfect. And i get the vague impression that none of you even vaguely believe that. I guess its ok to say religion is the root of alot of evil, but its completely racist to say islam is maybe a bit more open to extremists than others.

No, it just doesnt mean your country is a heartless capitalist machine. From my experience most ppl are really dumb about things like budgets and where money should go, they always know it better. The economy has ups and downs, get over it. And the thing ppl need most in countries like Africa is stability, which is what an army can give.
