rofl that's awesome

i like it, although you should make each square on the front extend out a little bit to give it a more 3d look, and maybe make the second square have a rounded top with a funky something at the top, just to keep things pretty

make sure you clip it from hell and back

auto updates are for losers

i gave up on the idea because it's too late and theres no good one angle, i've resorted to just takeing a shitload of pics

and yeah, the mini tripod is a screw on, though it's no big deal, i can always just eye ball the angle and cro the edges, the perspective wouldn't be a big problem because of distance

my dead cat > your dead bird

i didn't mean to make the map mountainous or anything, but the land is a perfectly flag plane and it really stands out. grooves on the road and other things that tie into the scenery would be just fine
-
you're just jealous because you didn't make the link
-
awesome, but there is a ginourmous lack of terrain, the road/grass is completely flat and it just looks silly

i think i have a mini tripod that i can tape down or something, maybe ill do that
(yesterday they were moving my shed, i have a video of it, the crane almost flipped over, it was some super cool shit)

im watching rome: engineering an empire on the history channel and its rel cool, would be grat for inspiration. it would be real neat if you built an aqueduct off in the distance

i'm having a new dock put into my back yard and i want to place my camera in the same place every day and take the same picture so that i can get a ice bunch of pictures i can put in a slide show to show the progress. i was wondering if anyone had tips for positioning the camera. there's no place in the house that i can put the camera that would be good because of anges/screens. and i don't want to leave the camera outside obviously. is there a good way to go about this?

stop trying to turn a mappack into a contest. having losers discourages people from participating. if all the entries are included in the pack there will still be good and bad maps, except everyone gets to be in the pack. i can understand the team thing, but again, all the renound mappers will get quality modelers/texture artists to help them out while the newer/unknown mappers are stuck by themselves. this should be a straight up make a map with x theme and submit it, all the serious entries will be zipped up and sent to the world

where did you get tha floor texture?
