#1, your splash page is tacky and gives a bad impression, to me at least
#2, forums =! blog

if i ever rip music, i usually use wmp, it does it just fine, names them properly, puts them in the right folder where i tell it to and it plays the music while ripping. other than that, wmp can lick my balls. i find that music match jukebox is the best for organizing music, its just great, if you have a subscription it will go out and label everything correctly for you with album ary and stuff, and you can adjust the tags for your songs with a whole lot of control for mass tagging and such. i dont really listen to any new music so ive got everything neat and organized in folders where i like it, from there on i just use winamp, its simple and works, so i dont fuck with it. i still find itunes too intrusive and annoying and stuff like that, not to mention for the past 4 versions havent wanted to install. the only thing i ever use itunes for is to listen to 30 second clips of songs, and that's only if last.fm doesn't have them

how about you stick it on digg and we'll all digg it

-
i added the rss feed to my google homepage, though its not as neat as the digg one, you can see the source for theirs here:
it shows you the number of diggs in the same type of box you'd see on the digg page
this is what they both look like side by side

there should be a button to subtract a bump too, maybe say "kick" or "slap" or something

lol that looks really cool. while at some points the graphics look on par with hl1, at other times they look pretty good, plus it stays true to duke nuken. the las vegas recreation looks suprisingly good, hopefully thats real and not a cutscene or something. not sure why it takes palce in las vegas though

-
the guy who made it posts on a forum i frequent

-
thats my point though, once something is on the front page, it doesn't stay there. a great article might get posted, but it'll only get recognized for a few hours while it'll be applicable for several years
-
its hard to say what i mean exactly, but my point is that i find the digg system more useful with time relative things, as most people will only look at new top items instead of the top dug items. maybe it would be good if you had sections and sorted them by most bumped
just put another article on the main page

i found dig a few months ago and stuck it on my google homepage, its a really great thing to have. i'm not exactly sure as to what kind of content you're going for though, is it game news, or game development articles/tutorials, or both or what? the digg system isnt that great for tutorials/articles because they aren't time relevant at all and wont be recognized for what they really are
the registration is a bit wacky, the way it's laid out it at first appears that there is no field for the email, but then i realized that it's spaced wrong. take a look and you'll understand
also, the + and - to rate comments is very hard to see because it's non contrasting at all. little icons would be better ala digg
good job on the graphics, i like how you made the m and controller, creative. could use a dash of other colors though, every thing is the exact same green hue and it gets boring

agreed, the video was made with top quality, great job, the map is nice, but it looks a bit amateurish, lots of hard edges, contrasting stuff, non blending, boxes etc, it could use some textures that blend the ground to the building, and some sets of textures to keep themes for buildings going. in addition to some roofs that use displacement maps to make them a bit messy, stuff like that. and a whole shit ton of props
