After using it for some time now I really gotta say I dig it.
You don't really need the projection master anymore now which is good (at least for the stuff I do) and it handles polies INSANELY good.
It also renders stuff very beautifully.
I've only used mudbox very briefly so it's not fair I compare them but I will sure stay with zbrush since I feel it handles large amount of polies so much better. But in the end it's up to what you're used to. And since zbrush has quite a difficult interface I guess it's a lot easier to get into mudbox if you've used other 3d applications before (especially maya I believe).
Looks solid yes. But as Mazy said the things we got to see doesn't really show off something you couldn't do with a lot of other engines now.
The last one is nice indeed. If I could come up with some feedback now it'd be to alter the colour/brightness slightly between the tiles. And try and make a couple of tiles a bit more unique. Not adding more dirt to them but just perhaps try a bit different and larger edge worn and try and go "really" different on a few of those tiles.
Anyway good work so far.
This is not a good place for parents!!!!
But seriously best of luck with your whole moving thing. I hope you don't have too much large stuff to move. Seems you managed to sell quite some of that in Canada ![]()
I guess now it will be a bit easier for you to get to Germany when you're up for some vacation time ![]()
Man I really hope I can get over at the Spain studio sometime in a couple of months checking it out and meeting you you ![]()
Those are nice harefort.
But the white pillars look too clean compared to the rest IMO.
Overall good quality in terms of sharpness, colours and grime.
Looked ok. I'm not really interested in this tho.
Many parts of it look nice. Will try and test it out during the lunch hour.
Judging from the pics it looks like a nice map.
grats on that job. well deserved.
Nice stuff! Posted in the sticky member tutorials thread ![]()
those are some pretty nice grungy textures blitz. I dont know if you're gonna normal map them at all. The first two would probably need to get rid of the light direction pretty much, especially on the bolts there then.
If not nm.
The last two would probably work fine without any removal of light direction since they dont really have any significant spots you would notice at least.
You really pulled a good colour palette on them overall imo.
Best of luck with your studies Henning. Enjoy some resting time now ![]()
Welcome soon Zombie ![]()
Nice car mino ![]()
You should definitely model the interior too tho (perhaps you planned that).
Wouldn't need to be very advanced. But it adds a lot.

Hopefully I'll see you there in not a too distant future either sir.
Good luck with your moving and such.
