I don't think many customers are going to "shame" the game by not buying it becuase it's a gta clone. If it's fun, people will buy it. I would rather see one game blatantly copy another game on the chance it might make some improvements on it and force everyone else in the genre to innovate to stand out from the rest. There is no way to be a huge success and not get cloned. The market will decide.

I would welcome anyone to make a clone of any game I made, if someone else does it better, than maybe I should step up and innovate show poeple why my game is still the best in the genre. Can't copyright gameplay and it would be a damn shame if you could.

shadow I was looking at your site, you talk about battleground (I play it a bit too) but something about your description of it caught my eye: "There’s nothing like playing the civil war with those old rifles where you get one shot to kill someone" Looks like you need to re-take some history classes! your off by about a century bub! I just got a 2006 scion tc release edition, my very own first brand new car - yay! I'm in love with it, in much part becuase it's a rolling ipod listening chamber. (plug in ipod in middle compartment, forget about it - change songs and navigate via head unit and steeringwheel controls)

the same thing happened to me in photoshop when I hit capslock and almost re-installed the damn program becuase my brush cursers were gone.

Oh and I do the same thing in maya where I will accidentall close a really important shelf of buttons and then have to spend 20 minutes digging in the prefrences and view options tring to figure out how to get them back.
