WOW! How can they release something like this? What AVP is concerned, I hope the quality of Rogue Warrior won't be anything to go by...

If everything fails, there is always Pure Platinum guys! Have fun!

I am the opposite. "Shit, that guy made some fantastic stuff ... I will never be that good, not going to even try ... *goes back to WoW*"
Is this why you've been unemployed for so long?

I've made similar experiences as Corwin. A "to do" list helps, or just noted comments. With big projects you can get discouraged easily simply due to the enormous scope of the task and you don't know where to start. Break it down. Define exactly what needs to be done, it is easiest to get "in the flow" to start with the easiest tasks, because getting stuff done, no matter how small, is encouraging and prepares you for the bigger ones. At least that's how I know it should be done. Matter of fact is I get distracted easily, especially when I work at home (which is most of the time the case because I study). Then I come to realize that the most effective motivator is time pressure. When you know something needs to be done until that certain date and it can't be moved. It depends on how big the task is, the pressure can kick in 2-3 weeks before, or as late as a few days. I feel bad now, I should do more stuff for uni
Oh well time for some more MW2 multiplayer... -

It's an ad. It comes from a big hollywood studio. It's called marketing. What did you expect?

Lord Ned wait - you mean he didn't incorporate the changes you requested on his map that he released for you for free? Outrageous! Seriously why do you even still care then? As Skjalg said it's ok to share your thoughts on his work, but there is no need to be so rude.

Did Sindwiller just call me a kid?

Shaky cam videos make every game look better, still those assets and the lighting look REALLY nice.
