Yeah, 2494SW it's the ones I have here as well. The small blue led never really bothered me tho.

Hrm. Well I'm not too bothered by viewing angles, I don't move around much when I'm using it, and nobody is really ever looking over my shoulder or anything. We'll see. Too late now to return it anyways

Shipping from China's slow as hell and Fighting Fantasy, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, and Zelda: Spirit Tracks all just came out, though. I'm improvising with a mechanical pencil that has a small, rounded tip in the meantime.

Followup: very happy with the 2494sw! I can see what others are saying about viewing angle, the color starts to get a tiny bit off when viewing at an angle, but that only occurs well outside my normal viewing range. I can watch movies from my bed or work(/play games) from my chair and have no issues with colors being weird. Although the yellow-ness of my old monitor is a bit exaggerated in the photo, I will say the colors on the 2494sw are amazing, wayyyy better than my old monitor.

Pretty cool space artist book (despite the horrible cover art his stuff is top notch)
