Oh wow - blast from the past! I remember gazing at your weapon models back in the CS/HL-modding days! ![]()
Anyway, welcome and congrats on getting your work in the new CoD! ![]()

Quote from Minos[Blocked Image: http://i.imgur.com/xWxNN.jpg]Great movie about the 2008 economic crysis that everyone should watch.
Makes me wonder if the Strauss-Kahn case wasn't made up as he seemed to be pretty vocal against the Wall Street dudes who created all this shit.
9.5/10
That's a good watch. The part about the conflict of interest among academics who receive cheques from the financial industry was particularly interesting.
This reminds me to watch "Margin Call" : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1615147/
If you take into account that this is a map "only for eyecandy" the lighting is surprisingly...bland?
Quote from csyverwhich difficulty level was this? normal is supposed to be very easy.
I didn't change any difficulty settings so I suppose it was 'normal'. I guess I'll kick it up a notch or two then ![]()
Completed my first run as a wizard.

It is very easy?! Seems like they still have some balancing to do or maybe it's because it's the beginning of the game. Anyway, nothing that has blown my mind yet, but I do appreciate the little things they added to make certain things less tedious: picking up multiple batches of gold in the vicinity at the same time (or having a pet/companion that does this for you enitrely), journals that are read out loud while you can continue playing, selling items anywhere, ... Anyway, gonna check out some of the other classes, too~
It is a great movie. Highly recommended!

Well, Crysis is property of EA, and Homefront is property of THQ, so same assets could never be exchanged between projects. Even if they did, I doubt we would do that for characters... tiny props like cans or whatever, maybe, but characters? Never.

Plus they can recycle Korean assets from the first Crysis, which is a very reasonable thing to do considering the tough business climate...
Quote from SkjalgI'm having a blast with this new parenting stuff. Changing diapers is not as bad as it sounds and when he's not sleeping he's just silently looking around and watching stuff
It is a huge responsibility to keep him warm, fed and safe. Yes. But I don't feel like it is a burden at all

Quote from Rick_Dnot so impressive ingame.friend and i are trying to play it on PC atm, dunno why i pissed money away on this piece of shit. devs too lazy to include a way of not constantly transmitting incredibly annoying and loud low quality voice from other players.
good job faggots. just what i wanted to hear on a calm sunday afternoon, an unrelenting wave of buzzing and crackling. if you are going to be retarded enough to leave umutable voice transmission (hurr durr wut are PC gaymurs? dey don't have xbox or piss triple lol wut?) - then AT LEAST make the sound quality better than the shit we had 20 years ago.
when your god damn grand-daddies were getting rounded up by germans they had better sound quality over wireless radios from warsaw to berlin.
fuck this game. we are having to install a third party app to fuck around with our sound cards to get over this problem. cause i bet no patches are on their way.. programmers are too busy updating their anti-feminist blogs.
Banned for one day.
I don't know where you get the idea from that what we need is more modern war shooters but everyone is entitled to have their own favourite war-simulator setting. :derp:
Have you played the first Red Orchestra, Sentura? It did quite a few things differently than other WW II games out there. Big open maps, no crosshairs, bleeding, you had to identify friends/foes by their uniforms, ... - that stuff made the game much more interesting and immersive to many players including myself. Not to mention that Red Orchestra is all about the Eastern campaign of WW II. There is a defnitely a market for more realistic WW II shooters and Red Orchestra fills it quite nicely. I haven't followed the sequel much to be honest, but "first person cover-, morale- and squad-command-system" sounds promising to me. This might not sound all that convincing to you, but what I'm trying to say is: this isn't your standard shovelware-WW2-copycat-shooter.
haha nice one! ![]()
Hold on a second...there is a proper beat'em up title (not some fan project) in development that includes Street Fighter AND Tekken characters? My inner 12-year old is dancing filled with joy right now! ![]()
Let me look in my crystal ball here and look into the future...I can see that Rockstar is going to make a great game and all of you who are crapping over the trailer are going to buy it. The End. :derp:
