Never got into MOBA games until just recently (must be the shooter fatigue). I'll definitely check out DOTA2 as well, but right now this is keeping me occupied.

Disclaimer: I haven't watched the entire conference. I've watched the demos of Killzone 4, The Witness and Watchdogs - which was the only one of the three that got me a little excited (that is hardly SONY's accomplishment though). Everything I've seen and read so far is leaving me unimpressed. Too little has been said about how open the platform is actually going to be for developers who wish to self-publish, Gaikai seems to be more like an afterthought that won't be ready for quite a while, no specifics on free2play, just incremental improvements to the controller and a video-sharing functionality that is already a reality on mobile. But the graphics are gonna be amazing right?

Look what you did, Randy! All joking aside, I'm as puzzled as everyone else as to what happened. Not too long ago GBX released Borderlands 2 - a 90% metacritic title - and now they're putting their reputation as a studio on the line by releasing...this.

So Koch Media spent a cool 28 mil that day - sounds like they're going all-in. The fact that Vigil hasn't been picked up surprises me, too. Departures maybe? No promising game in the works? What a shame.

P.S. I guess that answers what's going to happen to Homeland 2 without THQ too then Gz Crytek!

I'm curious to see what's going to happen if Ubisoft acquires all of THQ's assets (including the license to Homefront): is Crytek going to drop the project or Ubisoft give it to a different studio OR will they work together again after all this time?
