I'm confused.

A game for entrepreneurs/economists heh...interesting! But not very captivating (yet). The onboarding could be improved: there isn't much of a tutorial or a missioning system that introduces me to the game. Also: no registration vie eMail? I cannot close the rules window.

It looks beautiful! Love the effects and HUD. But the gamepad controls and crashes made it awkward to watch indeed.

Hi Russel, welcome to the Core!

Quite a few projects you've got listed there. It's hard to tell which ones are hobbyist-projects and which of these games you've been involved in professionally. The fact that I can't find a resumé ties into this. The ability to enlarge some of those screenshots would be nice, too.

I think it's too much TD for me, plus the lead designer sounds way too pretentious. Probably gonna pass on this.
I don't understand why you think he comes across as pretentious either.
Quote from duxUgh I hate F2P. Puts me off of games before I even play them.
Why not give the game a chance? Only because other games that put you off have used the same business model, it doesn't mean this game has to be shit. I know you've been playing a lot of Hearthstone and even though this is not a Blizzard game I hear Epic Games has released a few cool games in the past as well...

It sounds/looks fun to me! Curious to find out more about it. Does anyone know if it's round-based or endless?

I went to GDC this year (where I met Furyo which was great
) and added some extra days to my stay in California for vacation. I visited a friend in Laguna Beach/Irvine and met up with ex-colleagues and MapCorians who are working for Blizzard these days. This is me waiting in anticipation:

Group Shot (from left to right): Peris, PhilipK, Marco (former colleague), me, Mino and Tomas (also a former colleague of mine):

We had dinner and a few drinks:

Always great to meet MapCorians IRL. I saw Philip again a few days later in Vegas which was a welcome coincidence
I hope to see all of you guys again next year (including that slacker Helder)!
Next destination: Stockholm (to visit Nexus). -
I'm not sure how well this will fit in here between 300 and Stalingrad 3D but Blue Jasmine was pretty good in my opinion
Superb performance by Cate Blanchett. -

That's the main train station, right?
Damn, they flew the statue all the way from LA, that's the statue they had on the lobby of E3 last year.
Yup. Gotta send Putin a message.

It ain't Call of Duty but it's not bad at all for an F2P Webplayer FPS. I played only one round during my lunch break, but will play more later. Trying to knife someone when you can walk through them feels really awkward though

Thank you! I was getting the impression that my English is getting worse over time because I sometimes have no idea what is being said on this show.
10/10 would watch again

- Pretty much only state media? There are nearly 100,000 media outlets in Russia, 10 of which are state owned... yeah that's really "pretty much only state media" clearly...
First of all this is leaving out all stations, papers etc. that are owned by companies which are controlled by the state and those whose owners have direct or indirect ties to the Kreml. Then it is obviously not about numbers but about reach (state-run media have the upper hand) and last but not least you do not take into account various anti-critic policies that lead to self-censorship and further stiffle objective journalism in Russia. Not going to get into this mess that is going on in the Ukraine right now, but I couldn't leave that uncommented...

BTW.: Any affiliation to "The Dönerking"?

What 20 years was this?

I'd suggest to link the images in the carousel on the home page to the according game page. Looking good otherwise!

I think it only exists in name and ownership by Scott and George.
...not anymore. Apparently it now belongs to Interceptor Entertainment: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2014-…uires-3d-realms
