Cool tutorial, there are many other tutorials but this is definitely simple straight forward easy to understand one . I'd like to see how an authentic PhilipK texture is made , a breakdown of the various layers and how you make use of photos and stuff like that. A tutorial of that!

Here are some of those green patches for Frie~ Most of these were taken from a moving vehicle on very bad roads so a bit of blur

Dad usually goes for a hike or a trek with some of his friends or alone, once or twice every year to the Himalayan region. He returned yesterday from a 15day trip to a place called Leh, in Ladakh. Its not the type of place for people whose idea of adventure is flying to a place and checking into a 5star hotel, sipping on champagne while sitting in a jacuzzi and watching TV. Its an isolated place which is accessible by road for around 4-5 months a year. During the other months, the only transportation available is by planes. Only a couple of them land and takeoff everyday.

Here are some of the pics he took during the trip. Hope you guys like them. All credit goes to my dad

Pretty common sight, roads over the clouds.

    Streams and rocks crossing roads.

Roads get washed away, diversions are used if possible.

Roads in the region are vulnerable to landslides. Blockages are a common occurrence.

Barren land everywhere, occasionally one finds streams being diverted and small patches land being cultivated.

I've paid it with all the stuff and the amplifier : 250 €, so 698.694 Real or approximatively 14 624.6 rupees , quite a good deal for a gibsonthanks for the advices dudes

Why thank you! for including the price in rupees , Looks like a nice guitar, I have an acoustic one and I suck. I've been trying to teach myself how to play it using the internet . I've also been thinking of buying an electric.

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ has nice lessons of some songs and how they're played. They split songs up in sections and explain each section with a mp3 and stuff. Pretty nice way to learn to play

Meotwister, I think your model is fine, the lights are too harsh, I think it wipes all the details D: Maybe a lower intensity light will help Some tweaking of the material too maybe

Very Very Good stuff , Thats a lot of models Render time of 50hrs OUCH vray ftw

Also what if you do render passes and put them together in PS?, you'll have more control too and probably lower render times too as well as experiment with different looks : o

JAL I'm not sure cause most of the stuff looks like its all plain colored with no patterns or anything. I may add textures if needed , Your stuff is most excellent btw

Skjalg I'll try and smoothen it a bit~

Making changes is painful, each render takes ~20minutes on my 2800+ 512MB RAM

A head model I've been working on. I know I know , i hurried with the ears, got impatient. Wanted to start with the unwrapping/texture making.

As of now, this is how it looks like, It should be over soon.
