When I saw the latest screenshots I couldn't help thinking:

I donno, don't really have any expectations at this point. LA Noire was in development hell as well, and that turned out pretty good in my opinion, so who knows, they might be able to make a solid title of it.
Mysterious....intervesting~

LOL it's true!
Quote from TaylorI didn't notice a difference on bosses between normal and hard, but perhaps I was just better. The room is full of gas cannisters and explosive barrels and you need to throw like 5 of these for him to die. And all the boss arenas have weapons in them or just before.
You should invest in the explosive rounds upgrade and a revolver, it' sold by the merchant in detroit though I can't remember when he stocks it. Just keep all the revolver ammo you find and you're golden.
Heh, never even fired the revolver once (Or the pistol or shotgun for that matter). Kept strictly to the automatic weapons, which I pretty much only used for the boss fights. Second time through I'm gonna grab and upgrade the revolver based on what you're saying, also fills out less slots than an assault rifle + SMG.
Also regarding boss fights, was only really the second boss that I had trouble with,

I just
Quotesat underneath the stairs, there's a little tunnel and they can't find you. Then when it arrived i cloaked up and popped out and into the lift.
Same here, almost felt a little too anticlimactic, would've been neat if they had some patrols back to that area just to freak people out ![]()
Waiting until I see some reviews, but I really want this to be good, especially in co-op~
Nice! Grats~~~ Go Irrational.Core! ![]()
Okay, from NOW I'm not checking any more Uncharted 3 videos.
31 hours for me. Read every single log or email I could find, so I took my time ![]()
Quote":2ksc4n03]Just finished it!I loved after the credits,
Bob Page talking with Megan Reed about the project we all know about, and then BAM DeusEx1 theme stars playing
, I had goosebumps all over!
Yeah totally.
QuoteI wish there was more links to the original Deus Ex characters. I guess that's the problem of doing an awesome prequel to an awesome game, you end up wishing that they'd merge even more. In general I wish there had been even more conspiracy talk in HR, really loved that in the original it just felt like the plot kept on unraveling throughout the game, and it was only towards the end that it would stop having more secrets. But then there's also the thing of not expecting it when you started out playing the first Deus Ex, with this I was paranoid and suspicious of every single thing, so very few things would surprise me. Fairly early on I was thinking that since they mentioned Darrows and his project in the arctic quite often, then there was something more sinister about it
Can't wait to see what they do with a sequel to this~~
A bit annoyed that I played it stealthy the first time through on normal difficulty, since I was planning on going through again and doing more of an actiony approach on hard, but it seems that the values that they scale on difficulty are mainly those effecting combat. Derp :G
Quote from arhurtFucking boss battles break the flow of game.Advice: If you are a stealthy sort, try to "feel" when there is a boss coming up and stock up some weapons. Nothing is worse than having to drop your nice upgraded weapons to pick-up something more lethal for the boss...
Or just upgrade your backpack... than carry around that emergency rocket launcher.
Yeah, that is probably my only real gripe with the game. Played it stealthy as well, but after the first boss fight I just started stocking up on a couple of guns to be safe. Made a significant difference,
Quoteeven if I still had some trouble in taking out the augmented chick boss (especially because her electrical attacks hurt so much, and I hadn't stocked up on hypos)
Coolness~~grats~
Just finished it as well, clocked in on 31 hours, read everything
. Definitely my GOTY so far, and one of my favorite games of this generation.
Haha yeah, LOVE Breaking Bad but I hate that Rage is made out to be a lightgun game :G But it serves a purpose in terms of the plot
But where is Hurg???
