I think most people here will agree that the Revolution is gonna be the most interesting of the bunch. However theres nothing wrong with moving along, especially since it means that you'll be able to stash away that big old ugly black box

By the way, regarding the teaser movie for the Revolution controller where they were jumping all over with it, then its already been said that pretty much 90% of the time you're using it, it will be small hand twists rather than actually moving your arm

I love that picture of a guy swinging a sword though, sells the concept pretty easily.

Getting PGR3 and Kong for sure. Based on Gamespots review then Im getting Perfect Dark Zero too. Might pick up Condemded if the other games runs out too fast.

Aye, HD hasnt broken through here either, but it wont be long before it will. That said then it does seem like they're out pretty early with it (I'll probably regret saying that in a year or so ).

Regarding exclusive games then I think Mass Effect from Bioware is enough reason for me to get one, given that they dont go KOTOR on us and port it for the PC. Halo 3? Really liked the first one but the second one sorta lost me.

They really have a problem with big titles on the horizon, most of the interesting ones are coming for the PC as well.

Interesting that noone has started a topic about this yet. Although I'm not terribly excited about it then Im still getting on for the European launch on next friday. So whos getting one, and why?

Cant complain about how things are going so far, but I also plan on spending less time on computers and more time on social stuff in the future. Even I can see the absurdity in completing like 4 games per week . Although I live for games and movies, then I want to do some other things with my life, especially at this point. Need to get my own place first though

Obviously, and thats the core of alot of discussions that game developer gurus are starting at the moment (guys like Will Wright, Peter Molyneux and Warren Spector). That people think that next gen games are going to sell alot better because they simply provide better graphics, rather than providing a new experience. It goes without saying that graphics are important to sell the game but its the content that keeps you in, and theres a common feeling between alot of developers that the industry is getting pretty depleted in terms of the current trend of just repeating the same content over and over. Especially now when the development costs are rising.

However I doubt the believes that this will eventually spell the demise of the games industry, although I doubt it will help gather in more people like Sony and Microsoft predict.

Anyway, time will tell

Resident Evil 4 (Cube) wasnt released here until 2005, so I'll go with that. One of the very best games ever made imo
