Aye, definitely the biggest game of August. I'm not quite as hyped as many others, so I'm gonna set my expectations considerably low since I fear it wont be as great as everybody's making it out to be. Maybe its just because I love System Shock 2 so much, and I know it wont be anything like it :G

Its funny how it looked totally sick back when they first showed it off, but now it looks pretty standard. Its a small team though, so I guess thats a compliment.

They really need to get some investors and a publisher though, cant keep going about this way.

I donno, I love Lost, but that trailer looks kinda dumb tbh. I'll probably check it out when its released, wouldn't dare expecting anything good though.

Now an Entourage game, that I'd get!

Aye read it earlier, got me into finding silly Youtube movies with Gmod

I lol'd, mainly because thats how everything I've made with Gmod has looked, physics flying around at lightspeed

But yeah, his work method has definitely proven solid. Most Source mods should just get some balls, take a chance and release something that might not be polished to perfection. I for one miss the old HL1 days where you'd see mod updates each month or so, and see considerable improvements with each iteration. This current method might get you respected more as portfolio piece, but its also more or rendered the entire Source modding community a mere shadow of its former HL1 self.

But then it might also just be me who isn't keeping up enough with whats being released now, kinda gave up a year or so after HL2 was released :G

YOSH! I bought a PS3 to be able to check out the pr0n in MGS4~

Awesome. They should map that camo stuff to a button though. I hated that you had to go into a menu every time you wanted to change it in MGS3.

Oh and hopefully the AI characters were blind in the demo, because they didn't really seem too smart even within MGS standards

  • Ubisoft announces FarCry 2

    • Mazy
    • July 19, 2007 at 9:50 PM

Maybe they'll release it around the movie's release, double the marketing potential!

Seriously though, wtf. I really liked the original FarCry, it did have some pretty annoying bits but overall its still a solid title. But Ubisoft have managed to totally clusterfuck whatever the FarCry franchise had going for it with an absolute shit storm of awful sequels. Does anyone really hold any value to the Far Cry name anymore?

  • Peter Moore leaves MS for EA Sports

    I want J back!

But yeah, it's funny with Microsoft, when you're finally starting to like their PR guys they switch em out. Although the entire warranty ordeal obviously has had some heads roll, then I doubt it's the reason for this move by Moore. Does sound like Moore simply didn't want to stay in Seattle, and from the sound of things the Bay area does sound a bit nicer

I really like Peter Moore, he definitely seems more genuine than all the other executives combined. Hopefully he'll be able to do some good at EA Sports.

And yeah, the new guy does look awfully boring, hopefully he'll be "Allardified" in a hurry and be up and playing Rock Band by X07

I'm almost through Killzone Liberation, good stuff.

I generally use my PSP as much as the DS (more actually), although I tend to use one of em over long periods rather than both at once

I'm not important enough to go there, and besides, I think I'm on holiday in California at the point anyway (Why couldn't it have been in July! )

Gonna be interesting to see what they're gonna do with Leipzig this year, there's a lot of strange vibe going around at the moment, with E3 07 being all weird

    Q4!

Kinda worried tbh, Q3 and Q4 of 07 are going to be totally insane. I mean theres pretty much a major title being released at least every 2nd week, great time to be playing games. But I do think K&L has a fair chance to keep its head above water~

Good stuff, definitely picking it up when its released.

Heh, if you can trust the release dates that have been given...

    1. Uncharted

    2. Lair

    3. Heavenly Sword

    4. Ratchet & Clank Future

I'm definitely looking forward to Uncharted and Lair, I'm still not quite sure about Heavenly Sword and Ratchet & Clank, but they look solid enough.
