I've always wondered why Affleck hasn't gone down the villain route in films. For some reason he is fairly despised (though I quite like him), and when he has a beard he automatically looks more evil anyway. He could probably pull it off quite well.
Then again, isn't Batman meant to be Superman's enemy in the next Man of Steel film? Suddenly things are making more sense...

intersetingYour Ancestors Didn't Sleep Like You
QuoteWe didn’t always sleep in one eight hour chunk. We used to sleep in two shorter periods, over a longer range of night. This range was about 12 hours long, and began with a sleep of three to four hours, wakefulness of two to three hours, then sleep again until morning.
But just what did people do with these extra twilight hours? Pretty much what you might expect.
Most stayed in their beds and bedrooms, sometimes reading, and often they would use the time to pray. Religious manuals included special prayers to be said in the mid-sleep hours.
Others might smoke, talk with co-sleepers, or have sex. Some were more active and would leave to visit with neighbours.

Holy shit part three just came out? I thought that was never coming. So sweet, these videos. I really wish some awesome HL1 fan videos would get made though.

LMAO you don't have much luck with that stuff knj.
You have revealed an oversight though, mobile YouTube URLs aren't picked up. I'll fix that now. -
I guess they're just thinking about consoles, not a concern there of course. It's an important thing to remember for PC gamers though as I don't think I've ever played a PC game that gets my graphics settings right automatically.

I'll be getting this on console soon anyway, so not something that'll affect me!

Interesting, I never realised such big parts were cut. Maybe the Black Mesa guys could get in touch with these modders to incorporate them into the official Xen release? That'd be a great way of adding even more value to the eventual update.

Btw, Uplink was remade for Black Mesa and can be installed as chapter 0. Something to keep us going until the post-Lambda part of the game is added. Anyone heard anything about that BTW?

But it'll be authentic then!

To be fair I understand the voice, but then Bale doesn't exactly have the most naturally grizzly voice either — he puts on an almost comical gruff voice for his Batman scenes. I dunno, I just have to hope they know what they're doing after Man of Steel and Batman Nolan (which I loved) haha.

I love it on a purely aesthetic level, the colour and composition is all so beautiful. I like the leaves because they provide a colourful contrast to the brown, although I understand FMPONE's concern about the machine not standing out as much — it's true that the eye is drawn primarily to the leaves upon first look. Maybe something could be done with the lighting and/or textures of the machine to make it more prominent, or perhaps it's as simple as moving the camera a bit.

I did six minutes of speed stepping and weighted steps yesterday and nearly passed out in front of all the incredibly fit hot women around me, lol.

I've never understood the dislike for Affleck, I've always thought he'd been good in what I've seen him in. I understand he was in some shitty superhero film I never saw, but many great actors have been in shitty films.
He was meant to be amazing in Argo, not seen that yet sadly. -
Always a good idea to let PC players configure their graphics settings and maybe even use a tutorial map before diving into the main campaign.

I think 'levolution' is just the natural culmination of what DICE has been doing since Bad Company. With BC1 and BC2 they tried to do all-out destruction on simple terrain but it often ended up being a bit too much, flow of levels being destroyed because everything turns into a parking lot. With BF3 they scaled it right back but IMO went a bit too far, with not that much actually being destructible — certainly very little that had a big impact on gameplay.
With BF4 it looks like they've finally managed to find something in-between. You can dramatically alter the flow of levels and make things feel really unpredictable, but not destroy it. It's all curated to a certain extent by people like Pampers I imagine, who are responsible for making sure things feel as wild as possible yet under control.

BF3 had a particular problem with the destruction feeling very inconsistent, i.e. you'd shoot up one wall and it'd come apart like plastic, shoot another (thinner) wall and it's like Mount Olympus. Also some levels were basically indestructible, mostly the smaller infantry-orientated ones like Metro and Grand Bazaar. I didn't like those ones very much, though I guess CoD fans must love them.

In order to play, you're going to need at least a P133Mhz with DirectX 6 and 24 MB of RAM. Keep in mind also that this file is HUGE (50MB compressed!)

jesus christ what the fuck

0:33 is hilarious btw, lmao.

Seriously though, this is exactly the kind of shit multiplayer shooters have been needing more of for years. As pretty as games have gotten, gameplay has hardly evolved (compare BF2 to BF3). This kind of unpredictability will further enhance what has always made Battlefield so awesome IMO, although I imagine the loser competitive gamers will hate it because they can't precisely predict everything that'll happen.
And those weather changes... holy shit. That is such an obvious yet somehow unusual improvement considering Battlefield matches can be longer than some PlanetSide skirmishes. I just hope it shifts in quite a subtle and random manner, rather than being purely relative to match time (ie: rain always starts 50% of the way through).

Forget everything I said earlier I'm ordering the premium package six times right now.

If it ends up being anything like the last EA F2P game I played on my iPhone that had the most tedious and insultingly wallet-raping approach to game design I've ever seen they can get fucked.
