Superb!!
If you're planning on putting that on TV, be sure to put the URL in nice, big writing too so people on standard-definition shit can get to us.

Pretty cool that you Germans have a television programme about games that isn't total shit/aimed at kids and morons.
Even cooler that MapCorians are getting featured on it!Consolevania and VideoGaiden is all well and good, but I do miss the tournaments and shit from GamesMaster. Man do I have some nostalgia for that show.

But I've watched all of Uwe Boll's films and loved them all.
Have you?? -
Uturn is a bad name.

Greystone is OK, but it might cause a bit of confusion due to skdr's popular Redstone.

No, but you do need to have something like two million healing points to unlock one of the three new Medic weapons being released next week, as well as 34 other tricky achievements.

And every class will subsequently get new weapons unlocked by similarly insane achievements I assume.

Nice to see classic mappers still at it.

Heutau was indeed great fun (played loads of clan games on it) so I think this'll probably be a gameplay winner. Time to bring your gameplay skill to Team Fortress 2 though I think sect0r.

Amazing and inspiring!

I've not really thought much about the gameplay of a new Earthworm Jim, but the IP alone is really cool. It's got the kind of depth to its universe, characters, etc that increasingly uncommon in platform games these days, somewhat akin to Psychonauts. Leveraging that and creating a great script/etc will go a long way.

... to revive a bunch of beloved old properties they didn't sell such as Earthworm Jim (game and a movie), MDK, Descent, and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Not everyone's type of games (although you're possibly weird if not a single one appealed to you), but it's pretty surprising as Interplay seemed to be entirely dead not too long ago after shutting down operations in 2004. Pretty nice to see truly old-school developers coming back.

Waste of time IMO. Why experience the intro for the first time with such abysmal quality?

Quote from dewdle
It's for tf2
Wind waker's style has exagerated blue water so that's why it's like that.Capture the flag

Nice work.
Loved that game. The reason the water looks wrong in your screenshot is because of the sky. When seawater is blue, it's mostly because it's reflecting the blue sky above. You have an evening-style sky in your shot, so the lighting/sky doesn't match up with the colour that the water should be.
Even Wind Waker itself adheres to this characteristic of seawater, as you can see in this blurry-as-hell screenshot of Outset Island:

So you need to either adjust the sky/ambience to match up the water, or vice-versa.

I've opted to leave the links as they are for now because the majority of people seem to be OK with it, and I don't want to make sweeping changes if everyone's gotten used to it. If there's more demand I'll give it a second look.
I've intentionally avoided core file mods like Prime Links requires as they can complicate upgrading the forums, which is another important factor. I didn't realise Prime Links required you to do that, but it does.

Wow, how the hell did I miss that? That's one of the best April Fools things ever.

The first screenshot above is lovely.

That seems like a better way than me dicking around with a custom solution. I'll look into that tonight.

If in the future I have time to adapt or find one that lets you set it on a per-user basis I'll do so.

This was an intentional decision on the part of the phpBB team, with the reasoning being that opening links in a new window is a browser function provided by middle clicking the links. By making both the left and middle buttons open the links in new windows, suddenly you have a duplicate function (ie: the ability to open links in the same window with a single click is lost).
This does make sense, but I also agree that it does break forum conventions somewhat and so for the time being it may be best if the original style returns. However, the HTML that makes links open in new windows (target="") was actually deprecated and is no longer present in XHTML (that this forum is designed to validate to), so I'll have to implement a Javascript alternative at some point during the next day or so. If I can, I'll make it a per-user profile setting. No promises, though.
