Furyo does work for Ubisoft, so I guess they're saying it's the Nomad engine now. ![]()
Unless he's just mistaken, which can happen.

I have to say that the shots do all look wholly unattractive. Plenty of time, though. ![]()
Seems to have that weird washed-out look that UT3 had. Really annoyed me, that did. ![]()
The general policy for user name changes is as follows:
[*:3c56j4y1]After the two-week grace period, if you have your username changed you won't be able to do it again for six months. For six months after the change, your custom title will indicate what your previous username was so forum members don't get confused. After six months the title will vanish and you'll be able to request a new change at any time.
[*:3c56j4y1]Obscene/stupid usernames will not be granted.
We cannot have highly respectable moderators with such names. ![]()
Well I hope you were being serious because it's staying as that.
If anyone else wants name requests please PM me in future. ![]()

Be careful what you wish for guys. ![]()
Have you been playing too many murder simulators Koko? ![]()
I thought the demo looked and played pretty blandly, lacking the intricacy of DiRT and the exhilaration of stuff like Burnout. Just seems like an exercise in retreading ground IMO. ![]()
To be fair seir, it's obviously something a lot of people do consider entertainment or it wouldn't have won that record.
The vast majority of people absolutely love GTA4 and can look over its technical issues, which aren't really as numerous or as enjoyment impeding as you imply IMO. As I said, I'm still enjoying the game after 35 hours, and I know millions of other people are too.
Honestly, unless the 360 version is somehow much buggier than the PS3 version, it's not that bad. Its merits more than outweigh its negatives.

OK, well PM me the password you used to try and log into the account and I'll verify it. As long as I know you have actual access to the account that'll do. ![]()
You can do it from this page if you wish just to be absolutely sure you're sending it to an admin (me). ![]()
I still think it's an amazingly entertaining game, 35 hours in. I don't know what your complaint with the cover system is. To be honest, the cover system in GTA4 is better than various other games where shooting/cover is the primary aspect of the game! I won't name any at risk of offending Mazzle, though.
Maybe all you need to do is learn how to use it better (aim at what you want to jump behind, and remember you can zoom in and target specific body parts).
As for 'drive to destination', you realise you can get a taxi to instantly warp you anywhere in the entire map, right? You just make a waypoint on your map or choose an existing one, and then hit one of the buttons (X on the PS3) in the taxi to go there instantly. It's much better than the systems in previous games.
GTA4 isn't a perfect game, but it is the best of its kind and does essentially everything better than its predecessors. Seeing as they were highly reviewed, and this is better than them, the only logical answer is to also give it great reviews. I do agree that it isn't 10/10 material, but the word 'sucks' couldn't be further than my mind when thinking about GTA4.
I heard the driving physics are horrible. ![]()
I'll delete the other account so I can rename this one if you send me a private message from it to confirm your identity. ![]()
I think it's genuinely chilling they'd absolutely love to see that happen to the west, and that if they had the chance they'd do it without a moment of hesitation.
Pretty funny that game concept art created by westerners was used, though. ![]()
I think GTA has repeatedly done the whole political correctness thing in games with far more tact, satire, and wit. Postal 2 is downright childish in comparison.
