Looks like pretty sweet use of the engine. The earlier screenshots looked a bit too much like Modern Warfare's take on Prypiat for my liking (as MW did it better), but the footage in the trailers looks really good as they seem to have understood the value of tactfully using beautiful colours rather than making everything grey and dreary. ![]()

Opposing Force is definitely one of the best expansion packs ever, only really rivalled by HL2's Episode Two. I can't say it's better than HL1 as what made OpFor so cool was how it leant on everything the original accomplished and then told it from a different angle — kind of like how it'd be awesome to play HL2 from the perspective of the Combine. But shit, it was great.
-
Haha, yes I think it's fair to say you burned through them pretty fast Skjalg. I was at about 12 hours for Half-Life 2, and I took way longer with HL1 (partly because of not being particularly great at games back then).
-
I think it looks great. HL1 has aged so much I literally can't bring myself to play it anymore, whereas this looks aesthetically appealing even if it's not sporting the same fidelity we enjoy nowadays.
-
Yes, in all seriousness the constantly abrasive shtick is getting a bit old and mildly tedious.

Remains potentially incredible.

That second trailer is awesome.

Looks great, Mazy.
Seriously my most anticipated game right now. I'm actually kind of digging the removal of the commander role as now I should be able to do stealth gameplay more effectively rather than being revealed by some shitty satellite scan.
Seeing the videos has taken me back to my days of going around Solid Snake style in Battlefield 2.I've only ever played on Battlefield servers by trusted partners skdr, because they've always been the only ones you can use unlocks on.
Fortunately their partner list is pretty extensive so it's very unlikely to significantly limit your playing or choice of provider. -
I'm going to go ahead and admit that I've not really played many of Blizzard's games, but I was under the impression an enormous number of people love their games and they sell like hot cakes. Is supplying what people demand actually that contemptible?
As far as leaning on their own established IPs goes, they seem about on par with any other developer from what I can tell. There really aren't that many developers consistently churning out original IPs, and fewer still have successfully launched as many as Blizzard.

Awesome top related video for that:

Haha it wasn't just me who saw the hilarity of talking about bongs in a thread about not looking unprofessional to employers in a forum thread, then.

-
Okay, there we go.

I'll change it if you like Duffy, it should change any past occurrences of your name.
I can vouch for employers doing this. In fact, they had my name typed up in Google on a computer next to the interview area while I was sat down for the interview! With that said, I think all but the most serious of companies isn't going to take what they find too seriously — everyone has a social life and acts in a way they'd never act in a professional setting, after all.
Getting rid of particularly incriminating things is probably for the best, but as long as you don't act like a serious moron on the web I doubt you'll face any real repurcussions.

I'm not sure what the best solution is off hand for this. Even if your username were deleted, Google wouldn't clear that stuff from its cache for potentially weeks — and the original posts would still exist, they'd just be assigned to 'Guest'.
Changing your username might work better, as they may just think it's someone else? You'd still have the problem of Google results, but at least it wouldn't patently be you. You could always do a quick check through your posts that appear on Google and try and edit anything incriminating out.
Also bear in mind that EOT is not accessible or even visible to unregistered users.

All three Bourne movies are amazing.
