Grand Theft Auto IV

While problems do exist in GTA4, they're nowhere nearly as conspicuous as some sources are saying. I've been playing for ages and I've hardly encountered any issues at all, and the ones I did see were minor dips in the frame rate, a very rare bit of ragdoll weirdness, etc.
By and large, the animations in GTA4 are absolutely amazing. This is because they've mixed ragdolls with actual animations using Euphoria (procedural animation I guess), resulting in some startlingly life-like movement from pedestrians and Niko alike.
To be honest, considering the epic level of detail in GTA4 it's incredible it's as bug-free as it is. There's so much potential for you to screw things up just because of how much freedom you get.
For the most part GTA4 is deserving of its ratings because it's an unbelievable accomplishment from a world depth perspective, and also delivers an extremely entertaining experience. Just don't expect anything completely detached from its predecessors — this is still GTA.

I wish the multiplayer worked properly though :<
I keep getting thrown on and off, and skdr experienced the same issues when we played. apparently, the only thing that doesn't totally fail is Party Mode. The rest seem to have an embedded coin toss that determines whether or not we should be thrown off before it switched game mode.

You keep getting thrown off? How is that a bad thing?

yeah but those are dime-a-dozen, the super awesome car that i only had once when the gay guy gives it to you is hard to come by (if you can even find it at all?).
Were do i find it again? I forgot to put it in the garage (most likely to freeze or another mission that forced me to use a specific car)
The biggest problem for me is that the game locks up every now and then. I've moved away the jetengine xbox from the shelf in case there was a overheat problem, but it still locks up. Really annoying when you´r in a mission

after you get it once it doesnt come back which is lame.

If you guy have finished GTAIV, come get the

yeah but those are dime-a-dozen, the super awesome car that i only had once when the gay guy gives it to you is hard to come by (if you can even find it at all?). the race method seems decent, i dont think you lose any money or anything, maybe a thumbs down from brucie, but who cares.
They're not so much a dime a dozen, but they're also great at making the Infernus (that super awesome car you're talking about) spawn in the traffic. The way GTA handles vehicle spawning, you're likely to get replacement cars for the one you're currently driving within the same category. So go to that algonquin dealership, get yourself one of the 8 cars there, then drive around, noticeably around Times Square and Central Park and you should come across the Infernus sooner rather than later.
Once you get one, I suggest doing all the races in one go, going to the Pay and Spray shops along the way to avoid having to look for another one.
-
yeah i did all the races i could while i had the car, the beginning ones are pretty damn easy anyway

I want the PC version of this!!!!

Woah.

Yeah, I love the TV. I just use the zoomed-in view so it fills my actual TV and relax while eating or whatever.

-
A game's never late.

-
You just press select until you get the view, Peris. I think it's a PS3-only thing though because the Blu-Ray discs have the capacity to store the high-resolution versions of the TV shows.
-
You can do the same on the 360. It tells you what button to press in order to zoom in.
-
Must have been a mistake in the review I read, then. It said the 360 only had two of the three TV view angles, lacking the ultra-close one.
Hope it is there though as the shows are awesome when blown up.

-
That's strange because I can get a close one. :\
