I am currently giving a last chance to some old games I have laying around before they are uninstalled for good. Among those are Sacred and Savage atm both of which are ok games but not really anything that I am going to spend much more than a few more hours in before they get thrown out.

This is actually pretty good, the reviews are very harsh on it, it's not as bad as some people make out. It expands on the storyline effectively and although some areas look very ugly, there's a lot of areas that look really cool as well and the new enemies are fun to fight against. There's some awesome horror scenes as well, I actually freaked out a fair bit through this unlike the original game!

Aye, very much so. I never got it for the Dreamcast but I've always been interested in finding out what it was like. Its quite cool, especially the last "level" of it is quite awesome, still haven't gotten through it though.

So it's totally worth the money? Not that long I guess?

Just beat Crysis, which was quite fun, bought discount C&C Generals and rediscovered my dislike for the C&C strategy approach, and I bought Just Cause on PC and was pleasantly suprised. It is obviously a huge GTA rip, but it feels pretty fresh and it is enjoyable. The pc port does feel consoleish at times tho.

I think it is worth giving a shot if you're in the mood for this kind of thing. I've played it quite a lot already, and I can definitely see myself going back to replay it again in the future.

I picked up COD4 for PC on Thursday and haven't even started the singleplayer campaign yet because the mp part is so FUCKIN ADDICTIVE! Really, best MP shooter I have played in a long time...for those who haven't played it yet and just hear how "awesome" it is, but don't really know why - here are a few bulletpoints:

    - Killcam: When you die you see the 4 seconds before you are killed through the eyes of the killer. Now I can see how the bastard got me. So simple yet so cool, I'm amazed why nobody has thought of this/implemented this before.

    - Speaking of gamemodes: There are plenty. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, a domination kind of game mode (you need to control certain locations on the map to gain points for the team, kind of like Battlefield-reverse), a mode which is pretty much exactly like the Counter-Strike bomb/defuse mode, a defend/attack mode and so on...really lots of content.

    - Each player can order radar surveillance, airstrikes or a helicopter (!) that flies around the map and kills enemies until it gets shot down. You can unlock these abilities for killing a specific number of enemies each round.

    - Ranks - Gain points to climb up the rank ladder to unlock more weapons, gadgets and "challenges" (pretty much like achievements).

    - Classes - Customize your own class, with weapons and extra abilities (like extra health, extra stamina, more damage, less recoil, ...)

    - Bullets penetrate surfaces, that's quite important actually and instead of frustrating I find it especially rewarding. It's a nice addition to a fairly exhausted genre (penetratable surfaces have felt more like bugs before, here it is done properly).

There is more cool stuff...I hadn't thought IW put so much effort into the mp part, maybe it's because the first COD game I play in mp. Really good fun.

The Killcam is in Cod2 as well, but I agree that I would really like to see it in more games.
