We were having this discussion over in my mod's forum. I am skeptical of the situation. Snopes has access to no special info, so really they're just making conclusions the same way you or anyone else does. Anyways... I'll repost my thoughts:

"From what I've seen if it was a plane it was likely a smaller plane. A 757 is a huge mamajamma. I have a hard time believing that, given the size, there would be practically nothing left... the afforementioned peice of alluminum (shown here on mapcore as well) doesn't scream airplane and the numbers 757 definitely aren't written on it. Even with jetfuel and fire, I would expect there to be more. Further more, the availibe evidence has been limited by the government itself. To dismiss any such rumors, making all of the footage availible to the public is a MUCH better way to dismis this sort of discussion. Clearly if any of the other cameras mentioned in the above video the pentagon flash video had their footage released, this discussion might not even be a possibility as real hard evidence would be availible. One of my main issues with this is that most of the evidence is conjecture. A fucked up pentagon building, minor scraps of metal, one frame of video footage showing what *might* be a plane, news reports that repeat what officials tell them, and an unconfirmed number of testimonies... some of which provide conflicting evidence... doesn't... to me... create a completely sound case. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I perfer skeptic... and in a skeptical situation such as this, I don't think there's anything wrong with not trusting what's been told to us."

If you wanna discuss a topic like this at least make a damn arguement. Quoting snopes isn't really doing that. Snopes made their own conclusions and conluded that it was in fact a 757. I'm still skeptical.

how is quoting snopes not arguing when this entire topic is based off quoting some flash movie.

I didn't quote a flash movie... I made reference to one... but I certainly didn't quote it. I made reference to information gathered from multiple sources, not one. The arguement was brought up by it more than "based off of." It's hardly the only thing to make those claims.

How come there's no damage to the lawn, in ANY photo's you care to show?

If the wings snapped off, they must have hit SOMETHING first. They must have hit the sides of the building, yet there's no even any broken windows on either side of the hole.

You are all idiots, if was ofcourse a missile from north korea painted to look like a plane, and it also had 757 parts in the warhead!@!@!@@!

They did hit something, and there are broken windows on each side of the holes and the lawn is damaged on the photos. Use ur eyes

I just don't understand what possible motive the government could possibly have to trick the world into thinking something else crashed into the pentagon. You know how many people would have to be in on this huge consipracy? All the familes of the people that were on the plane, all the FAA employees that tracked the planes progress, all the people within a visible radius to the pentagon, all the poeple that work in the pentagon . . .

Just look at your own photos and find me one pic where the lawn isnt damaged and the building has no impact marks.

no rd you're wrong. they must have burned and charred all those remains and then put them into the pentagon.....right after they got out the hoe's and started ripping up the front lawn to cover up the lack of damage
