Any of my kids ever hit their mother I would floor them. Especially if my son struck his mom, he would wonder what hit him. My daughter, maybe just a spanking but the boy would get his ass knocked out. I tire of today's society and its time-outs, its corner chairs, and its non-corporal punishments.That kid is going to juvenie and the first time he acts like this someone is gonna knock his teeth out. Only problem is the hall can work either way. It can either show him the error of his ways or push him to resentment which often leads to a career criminal.

Child abuse isn't spanking. Beating your children and taking your anger out on them is abuse, but disciplining them won't get you arrested. There is a line that shouldn't be crossed, but it isn't at the very start of the race.
I'm against domestic violence too Evert. imho, punishment is the best way to go, beating on you'r child just makes it all worst!

The only thing this doesn't cover is that the parents must have let the child do a lot of bad things without saying a thing for him to reach the point where punching his own mother is ok....
I certainly would floor my son if he hit his mother. Twice if it's what it takes. But my son would never reach that end as the line not to cross is a lot closer than this.
Parents doesn't respect anything these days .. i mean my mom would have taken my supernes away, i'd have beaten her with the paddle !!!
