Played this last week on a high end pc. If the loading time takes that long, I would not want it. Other than that it was ok. Vehicles are sweet.

What are you talking about? Loadings takes around 10seconds to load each map for me.

Could be a slow HDD or a bad combination or type of RAM (you have a Pentium D after all). There's no other explanation. Loading times are fine if not a bit better than on UT2k4 for me - with less RAM, a slower graphics card.

maybe a bad game package. Computer runs other stuff perfect.

loading takes around 5/6 seconds for me (i do have a RAID0 array.. which doubles the bandwith for your harddisks..)

What?!?! How come?! I have a pretty fucking mediocre machine, and the maps loads in 10seconds max!

And I asked alot of friends, and the colleagues back at work, and they're loadings are fast as well!

My machine is soon four years old and I was shocked how fast the levels load (although there is texture streaming after spawning the camera). Close to if not even faster than UT2004!

Lol! When You turn off bloom and dof game will set World Detail to Lowest possible! Turning it back to high enables b&dof again... actually without postprocessing you can actually see that there's a map in the background of menu.

Yeah, it seems they're loading and unloading stuff very often to optimize load times and memory usage. You can actually see the enforcerer without any hand model when spawning, it gets loaded 2-3 seconds after spawning.

Found out why from an Unreal forum. Driver Issues. and yes I forgot to update my drivers too, haha. Fast loading times now.

Got a chance to check it out. Epic gets A+ for presentation, but once you look at some places they look rather sloppy. When games are very good, you tend to notice little things.

Overall, very good. Little polish and it will be one of the best looking levels I've got to play.

Downloaded it today and played a few rounds. I'd have to aggree with the graphical issues everyone else mentioned. Hopefully the full version gives you greater control over video settings along with the hi-res textures.

I enjoyed playing it, I didn't really get into the other UT's. I'm not normally a fan of vehicals in an FPS but thought they were cool. I like the hover board but think they could have done more with the physics/control mechanics of it.

Based on what I've seen I think it has a lot of potential and I'll buy the full version.

Method I think you are being overly picky there, you can find such extremely minor stuff in all games.

Hey, I'm an id guy, not Epic. I fight those Epic mofos anytime, fo'gettaboudit. As far as I know they ripped UT idea from Quake 3: Arena.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I still respect the work Epic do.

Things as too tilable definitely is too picky, a floating tree and being able to litterally fall out of the map however, isnt really something you want to have in your level:)
