I have no idea what it's going to be about but Rock'n Roll and medieval weaponry are good things in my book.

Nice! on the same level as you there, rock n roll and medival... mmmm reminds me of playing 'die by the sword' with some iron maiden on xD (yes die by the sword that really old crappy game,... buy you could chop stuff to bits with a sword so it was fun)

    Really looking forward to this.

It's a Tim Schafer game so the chances of it not being awesome are very slim, immediately putting this game high on my anticipation list.

here's a link to a video of a guy showing off the record from the marketing/press kit he got: http://kotaku.com/gaming/clips/jack-bla ... 310349.php

I can't believe this guy was stupid enough to record it w/ his camcorder, the least he could've done was to rip it onto an mp3, you can't hear crap. My ears hurt now.

I'm sure it will be very fun, critically acclaimed, and sell 10 copies. Poor Tim Schafer.

I'm pretty sure vivendi will market the shit out of this, especially with jack black being involved. So hopefully it will do well. I hope.

Was thinking of posting it, but he's such a fucking moron and I got a headache and so furious from watching it that I decided not to

Would love to have actually heard the record though.

Yeah, I really hope Vivendi push it hard. With Jack Black's central involvement and the whole game having a rock 'n' roll theme they at least have a pretty easy concept to summarise. Psychonauts wasn't exactly easy to sum up in one sentence and make it sound as great as it was.

I'm guessing a major part of Psychonauts' sales inadequacy was Majesco publishing it, who seemed to fuck up any large game they tried to sell; indeed, before Psychonauts they were only really known as a publisher of those budget games you see in all the bargain bins -- a totally different business and marketing model.
