    Anyway, Halo 3, I'm so on for it now. Its the kinda game that I haven't cared all that much about until its very close to released. Definitely stoked to try it out. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on it tomorrow and not on the official Wednesday danish release.

    EDIT: Just saw your sig, I assume it was your first. Thats a damn long time, you're lucky (Although not with the time it finally broke down)

    yeah first time, I almost made it a full 2 years. I tossed in skate and bam no more 360. I am also tempted to get a temp 360 since GBX pays for half of console purchaes.

    meanwhile, I didn't even bother to preorder a Halo3 but who am I kidding, I'm going to play it and I might decide to just buy this one, especially since a month ago Best Buy opened a store within walking distance of my house, tho my wife not want me out there at midnight tonight to do that.

    Yeah...I may actually be one of those geeks who gets to the store at midnight for a frakin' video game. Never done it before so might as well see what it's like.

    I wish I got one of those copies that got leak in Norway. If you handed it back to EA-Norway, you got the ultra collectors edition. I'd say that I'd trade it for an Elite + Halo 3 instead, if not, release it on the internets.

    Getting my xbox soon (premium hdmi ), I'll buy skate before I get Halo3, but I guess I kinda need Halo3 if I get xbox..

    Actually over lunch today I pre-bought my copy at a local comicbook/video game store near my house rather than the Best Buy. That way I can understand the supernerd mindset when I pick up my copy later tonight. (also it's a shorter walk than to Best Buy!)

    got my copy at the comic book store..and man there were like 2 other customers looking at various manga and Magic cards but it was otherwise :yawn: I suppose the local Best Buy will be nutty around midnight...or not.

    Anyway, played it until i got my first achievement. Yep, pretty nice graphics and it plays pretty well so far. Haven't gone online yet. Will refrain from any depper analysis until a proper thread on that gets started.

    Oh yeah the Bruce Willis cameo in the first 10 minutes was so awesome...especially the love triangle romance thing that gets started... move over Pearl Harbor!

    Oh yeah, I'd been keeping up on that ever since the thread over at Neogaf starting getting bloated and unfortunately it seems to be true. I opened mine up at the store and the disc was out of its holder and scratched up. Did this about three times before I settled for the standard edition as I just wanted to get out of there.

    Sucks though, initially I didn't think it was going to be such a wide spread problem but it seems to pretty consistent with the limited edition.

    Yeah, I'm more or less convinced that I'll just go with the regular version as well. I don't really care that much about bonus material anyway, plus I kinda prefer having the regular sized cases as opposed to the giant tin boxes (Although it can be nice once in a while ).

    My LE copy arrived with the disk free of the holder and several minor scratches, so from this entirely anecdotal evidence, I guess it is widespread The game appears to work fine though, hopefully I won't run into any problems.
