Here is a little wip from me. Decided to do some modeling again when i saw this contest. It's supposed to be a HotDog Kart!

Still a wip, have to get a dude in there and reduce the tris. Currently at 540 tris.

yeah that tube frame will twist your nuts for tris. I added a cable to my brain-tank.tm and i ended up with 30 left

You could try delete some edges.. Like those: http://pix.nofrag.com/0/2/c/6abfbd37d6c ... 04a309.gif ...Just try, if it doesn't change the main aspect, you 'll have more tri for the character..
