Only on the second day, didn't get much time to talk to you though, you seemed kinda shy! I met loads of people I knew at Wacken, it's crazy.

Belphegor were fucking fantastic, I was headbanging like a motherfucker all the way through

Did you see Enslaved/Immortal/Cannibal Corpse? They were amazing!

I am quite sunburnt, have a lot of bruises and my feet have swollen up but it was worth it.. roll on August 2008!

I briefly saw Enslaved because my friends wanted to see Lacuna Coil (who weren't bad at all, their "Enjoy the Silence" cover was great).

Immortal were ok, I'm not a big fan of their music though. I briefly saw Cannibal Corpse... must have been a sucky Wacken for death metal fans with Vital Remains cancelled their show.

EDIT: Belphegor were awesome, I wish they had played "Kings shall be Kings"... funny that they used the Eyes Wide Shut music in the beginning.

Haha yeah, I'm not surprised, it's a bit odd to meet someone from the Internet, we should have had a beer or something.. always next year

Yeah I wanted to see Lacuna Coil too but I know that they play locally on a semi-regular basis so I expect I'll catch them then. Dimmu Borgir were also pretty good, I'll see how they fare when I see them again in September, I suspect that Amon Amarth will wipe the floor with them though Did Vital Remains really cancel? I thought that was a mistake? I decided not to see them anyway, because after Cannibal Corpse my feet were so swollen I had to limp back to the tents!

Belphegor could have done with playing less material from the new album, Lucifer Incestus and Goatriech - Fleshcult are so much better, I wanted to hear 'Fukk The Blood Of Christ' and 'Bleeding Salvation' Nevermind, can't complain too much.. at least I got to see them!
