a few things... you added ... what i suppose is water damage to this texture... but coming from the trim part? Just looks odd and totally unreal.

Also, somebody else mention you made this stone and not plastic... they were correct... its just odd, it doesn't say LAB to me. Think about that texture actually in a clean lab enviorment and mimic that.

I may try this one as well later, just to give you guys some ideas.

I don't know if you guys have any intention for these textures, other then to further your skills, but I have an offer.

I'm with the Half-Life Improvement Team, and we started our own mod a while ago, called Half-Life: Enhanced. We're improving the original Half-Life experience, mostly the single player, but we may move onto multiplayer after we've done Opposing Force and Blue-Shift. We currently have code in place that allows textures to be replaced at runtime with higher res .tga's. There's no modification of the maps needed, you just specify the filenames of the images in a text file, similar to the way Detail Textures are handled. The problem that we have, is that we don't have many textures as of yet, and progress is slow, due to everyone working on other things. I can see that there's alot of talent here, and we could really use the help. We don't have any big requirements, we're pretty lax about most things, but we do get things done.

If anyone is interested, please check out our website (Link), and don't forget to drop by the forums, where most of the action happens. The main page only shows a sliver of what we've accomplished so far.

concrete can be smooth sometimes... doesn't always have to be this chunky looking stuff.
