    This has to be the most confusing texture. On the old one the depth seems somewhat confusing and I couldn't make out half of the texture, that's why I left a couple of details from the original out.

    It's somewhat boring without the yellow hydrolics, but it's a good start I guess. It's only my first few weeks in making textures so I still have a lot of tricks to learn.

    Not bad, it's hard to make HL textures as handdrawn articles as most of the originals are basically phototextures with filtering and stuff. Getting hold of the original photo sources from Valve would be just great...

    Just finished reading through the whole thread, Whew. 29 pages is a bit long but the effort was worth it.

    What you guys do here is amazing, I'm speechless from the talent in here, there are people who are in par with game developers. I see great things for you people in the future.

    I'd also like to second what was said earlier, stay true to the spirit of the game. Personal touches and all is great but try keeping it in the lines of Half-Life.

    I'm always happy to see textures by "this is the clown", his textures look really superb. You should join up with a MOD team or release a texture pack to get some more recognition (or remake more hl textures in this thread )!
