I actually played this game today for a bit and id have to say switching to the "evil" side is pretty kick ass . The idea behind having to switch back and forth between powers is pretty cool and the art style is very nice. I want to play more but its time for bed . They could totally turn this into a xbox live arcade game or something imo

Wow! Kinda hard to believe it's based on the source engine~ Will try it out asap!

Indeed what an excellent use of Source, love it. Reminds me of Little Big Planet in its style.

I think the most impressive part is quite simply that the entire thing was made in one month, and that it had to be fully tested and released at that point with no further modification. For a bunch of amateurs in university that's quite an accomplishment, especially considering just how much modification has gone on to make it look not even remotely similar to HL2.

If you're downloading the mod and expecting a retail-ready game then you're obviously going to be disappointed; clearly they went for polish and stability over providing hours of hardcore fun. Has any amateur mod in history ever managed to do that on its first release?

    Score:

    7/10

    It's... it's wonderful.

Shame it's only a platformer, I hope this is extended to involve a bit more.

i think it was pretty good, a bit frustrating at times (especially with the bees), but overall very well made and i was actually contemplating making my own map for it. shame it was only 1 level
