I also think HL2DM has just lost it's exclusiveness, if it didn't allready lost it (or even ever had).

I got an ATI, i own both games, and i'm too lazy to make a new account, but hey, it IS a good effort from Valve, pretty good stuff, maybe i'll hook one of my friends up with some cool games eh

I had a Steam account years ago that I opened the day I bought Half-Life 2 (the day it was released in fact). Then I bought a brand new ATI Radeon 9800 (again years ago), and I got another free Steam account with a second Half-Life 2.

Now I'm planning on buying a new graphics card sooner or later because my 9800 is... hum... you know. So, I will have 3 Steam accounts because I already own HL2DM and LostCoast two times (in each Steam account). The situation will become comic when I'll buy Episode 2, because the Black Box was canceled. I'll be forced to buy Half-Life 2 a second time and as a result of all this mess, I'll finally end up with 4 Steam accounts with an Half-Life 2 in each. Can't wait this situation..

Lost Coast is maybe 15 minutes of gameplay. HL2DM is just laggy grav gun spamming. Wooooo. That was worth the $400 graphics card.

All you need is SourceSDK base which I believe comes with HL2DM

You can only run mods multiplayer mods that use sourcesdkbase if lost coast gives you acces to sourcesdkbase (pretty much every mod that is released since august 2006 i think) and the multiplayer mod may not be using anything content from HL2 since they don't have it.

The Black-Box contains 2 keys: One is Half-Life 2 and Ep1 and one is The black-package (Ep2, Tf2, Portal) and you are allowed to resell the keys seperately or give them away seperately. If i wouldn't have the blackbox yet (another discussion) I were going to give HL2 and EP1 to my cousin because on his birthday.

I usually forget that you can make a new account and register all new games and such with my existic account ¬_¬ pretty stupid but my account won't get banned anyway i guess

if i had always created a new steam account with each new cd key(product i purchased /unlocked i would probably have 10 legit cs1.6 acounts right now

since everything always comes with hl1 which comes with cs

so i boughed / unlocked hl1 ---> 1x cs

i boughed / unlocked condition zero ---> 2x cs

i boughed/unlocked hl2 silver edition ---> one more hl1 --- > 3x cs

i boughed/unlocked episode one ---> does this enable me to play cs in anyway ? if yes ---> 4x cs

i had at least one ati card in the mean time ---> one more hl2dm does this enable me to play cs in anyway ? if yes ---> 5x cs

ok so maybe its just 3 -5 counter strikes not 10. still it would be good to have those sparekeys/acounts on a lan session. i wish i had done that D:
