php nuke question

im fooling around with php nuke and was wondering if any of you super duper amazing smart guys could help me out

how can i remove the "search" below the logo and the "create an account".

i disabled the modules for search AND users....but it doesnt seem to be doing anything. also choosing different template formats doesnt make it go away either.

I think you'll have to edit the templates directly with Wordpad or whatever. But for the most part they should be in HTML anyway, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

you have to spend more time configuring their gay templates that building a site from scratch

i dont really know php/html/mysql well enough to go it from scratch so i need that template to configure to my needs. plus this is more of a learning experience for me then a website that has to BE something.

gotta start somewhere D;!
