First my arse, there was gameplay footage out ages ago!

    *downloads anyway!

edit: Okay you could maybe say it was the first 'first person' gameplay footage.

Really looking forward to this game, one of the main reasons for me upgrading my pc.

This game doesnt look to heavy on the system, if you ran HL2, you'll run this one for sure!

Far from the truth really. DoD Source is far more comp intensive than Hl2, and TF2 will probably be more than DoDS....

Yeah, indeed. It might not look like it at a glance but there's a lot of lighting passes and shit going on, and Valve said in an older interview that they're including gigantic textures so owners of 768mb GeForce 8800 GTXs and stuff can enjoy ultra-sharpness.

Sharp comic textures? Erhm that sounds kinda weird to me.

Unless it's for Ep2 and not mainly for TF2.

They might be comic-like, but they do have actual texture to them.

I don't know if you ever played a game on 1920x1200, but I can assure you most textures start to look quite blurry once you get near them in the majority of games. Having them remain sharper for that bit longer rather than becoming fuzzy is a much appreciated change.

Yeah, the levels themselves look rather detailed in places. More demanding than HL2 and DoD:S seems a stretch though.

Like Thrik said, they're using some new shaders for the characters, so it might be quite a bit more intensive. Or maybe it won't. Looks bloody ace. I still crack up every time I see the soldier's run animation.

I'm hearing things that pre-order details will be revealed early next week and people who pre-order and buy it will get chance to play TF2 right away.

We'll see next week, in Tuesday actually.

edit: maybe a free TF2 weekend?
