never really cared about TF2 back in the day, more of a CS player - frankly haven't been all that interested in it recently, aside from loving the artwork.
This however, has got me really excited about the game

I love the animations and general art style of TF2, I'll need to take a week off work when Ep2, Portal and TF2 finally comes out.
I would always get my ass kicked in the old TF, maybe I'll do better in the new one 
Always liked TF, the soldier class was my favorite, followed by engineer. Don't know how it'll play with the gameplay changes they are adding, hope it'll do well too, in the end seems more like graphical upgrade . Graphics are great, the new engine additions will bring some interesting possibilities there.
BTW, how much time Valve wasted trying to do a sequel for TFC? There was that infamous TF2 for GoldSource, and then was also another project, seems like TF was considered to be the primitive multiplayer of HL2. There were multiple references in the original SDK code.
Looks absolutely brilliant. Probably not as good as that trailer that came out for introducing the game to new players, but gameplay-wise this looks like it's hitting the TF gameplay superbly. I'm really, really looking forward to it.
Anyone got any idea what the debut maps will be? 2fort is there so we're all good for the most part () but that one at the end kind of resembled a map in TFC I've totally forgotten the name of but was quite fun.
Well Dustbowl 2Fort +3 other maps i don't know atm (though one of them is the new attack mode )
Apparently the only out-of-the-box map to feature CTF gameplay is 2fort.
So now, in what year do you think TF2 will be released?
q1 08 isn't it, or q4 07?
