Set up your screen brightness stolve.

    Pretty sweet stuff overall, really

    Just some little things,

On the 5th screenshot, the white border lines make that texture really odd

And on the last screenshot the tiling texture on the right maybe needs a normal map, at the moment, the shading on it looks really flat.

    hope it helps

    It really is too dark.

Textures are nice, although like also requested in the other thread it would help if you also just show the textures themselves and not hidden in a dark level. Its hard to get a good idea of the actual textures like this.

Agree with Koko. The textures look very nice, but they are extremely flat. Add some normal maps to them and get some variation in lighting throughout the scene. It will really bring your work to life and give the scene that next-gen look.

Its dark for you? Bright as a sun here.

Well anyways, i didnt make normals for these either. Dont know why :S

But oh well. I made some now, lets see how it turns out

Thanks for the reply's. Ill take the advices that were given. Thanks again!

It looks good, great textures. Some variety in colors and texture types would help the individual scenes (natural elements, technology, whatever).

    looks good

but man, it's still too dark! I see bad in darkness.. The textures are made ok but your map is again not what it should be.

did you use cubemaps ? I'm just askin, you know what im sayin? Cause cubemaps they, makes better reflections in the map..

and why is the lighting coming out of the ceiling just like that without a lamp?

    looks good

well, i didn't put too much effort in making the map. More to show the textures. And the light without a source is first rule to learn. I know what cubemaps is too. I have those. Sorry that they are too dark.

Rather than just showing in-game, i can make a flat-set of it. Im doing that now for my portfolio, so you can await them soon.

Still im surprise you guys think the images are dark i see them very well. But ok. I'll fix it up!

I'd be more happy to see some flats insted of a textured scene.

hmm so its quasi sci fi Egyptian right ? (i don't really see the aztec in there) i think what you really need to sell these is some MAD golden specularity let those textures SHINE !

Agreed with Warby there, some specularity would be nice. Seems bright enough for me though.

    Hia! (Late reply )

Have been mega inactive the last weeks and so.

The flats for every texture in this scene and the other scene (calm scene further down on the wip forum) is on my portfolio. Just click on the Art section and see them =)

Thanks again for all replies. And for the spec map and shiny thing. Well maybe I'll try just that =)

Oh and: I didn't know what to call it. I didn't go for a aztec theme. Thats just what i named it since i couldent put my finger on what the theme was
