Ok forget the whole not scared thing. I'm making it through the swamp to lab x16 and the zombies here are just giving my the shits. Doesn't help that I'm down to my last 2 clips. HEADSHOT TIME.

The more i play the more i like the game. With a better gun and suit the handling gets better and its more fun. The atmosphere of the game is fantastic. Never seen a game with such a love for detail in the levels (well after 6 years of development its something you can expect but it already looked awesome years ago!).
When i was at that train station near the crashed helicopter it was night with a thunder storm. With full dynamic lighting it just looked awesome. I thought i was alone because i shoot everybody in that area but then i saw two tiny glowing eyes between the wagons. It was a almost invisible bloodsucker who watched me. It gave me the creeps.

reading this topic is making me want to buy a new computer

or wait for another hour so I can boot it on my rig at work and play it until 2

eh the military tunnels and shit ain't too bad, the snorks make me shiver a little - just that roar/growl gets me freaked. I shelled out a cool 60,000 on a new suit and some guns and ammo. BRING IT ON!

Well I'll be the first to say I didn't quite like the game so far. Only played the beginning of it all (first 3 missions) and there is a massive sense of confusion as you start the game, I also think the HUD interface is too complicated for my own taste, and yes the first guns are absolutely terrible (and they look like complete crap too)
I'm not entirely sold on the artistic design so far, the massive outdoor environments sure are a nice promise, but again the visual appeal isn't as good for me.
As you start the game it really is promising though, as you interact with the dealer, it all looks good, and as you go outside, I was equally disappointed by the animals animations.
I need to get some more time on this game, and my view of it will probably change

Just wait until you get out of the starting area, Furyo. The game gets alot better after that, and you are free to do just about anything you want. I love taking on a quest, going to a new area, then just get sidetracked for hours exploring and looking around.

i always forget to save and the autosave does not work, ppfff
-
i need to disable the autosave, it saves like every 5 seconds in some places - but there's no option to do it, pisses me off mightily, still there's a config somewhere if i bother to look for it.
this game is amazing. it just gets better and better and i haven't even got to pripyat yet.

Indeed this game is spitting hot fire
and what is the difference between the static and the dynamic lighting? I don't get it..

stalker game is not funny any mo' because I couldn't complete a level.
I ran the whole way thru the military base to the road leading to pripyat, but there as it says were too cruel psi-forces stopping me. I tried to get in, but failed again.
this effect ain't funny, the whole screen is flickerin in yellow dust and other dirty i dont know.
Stalker is just not fun any mo'.. I've played too much, too long, too far, too heavy.
I'm gonna wait for the cheats.

if you were following the quests nexus, you'll know that you have to desactivate the antennas generating psi waves to pass through

so far as I know you can't really "join" at all, you still are called a loner. but what you do is goto the area where the arena is, with your back turned to the front entrance of the duty place (around where the dogs are) and goto your right, you'll see a bunch of dudes set up around a roadblock and there is a metal tower right next ot htem. walk all the way back and find a guy called general vol something. if you stll cant find it just do the quests for the barkeep and you'll get one called do a task for general voll or something, you gotta steal a rocket layncuerj OMG ZI KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT STLKAERRR

Well that sorta sucks, from everything I read with interviews with the devs you could, never said it was cut before release ever from what I can find.
