If you look at that picture for a second (I'm sure someone at Reuters did) you can easily tell its photoshopped... its rather blatant. So I don't think you could say no one there knew it was. /derailment
That screen is horrid! 
Like Furyo said, the two textures aren't even aligned on that one wall... and the corner looks like a desperate attempt at sewing two screens together. But I can't say I'd be surprised if it was some ghey artifact of the mapping. But the outside also looks like it was sewn into this horrible frankenstein monster of a screen.
