    Very District 13-esque.

Only with the Knights Templar, SWAT teams, and superpowers instead of parkour.

    Actual Trailer - http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/8615

seems interesting, though what I think it is, is something like what was mentioned before. A fusion of Co-op and Multiplayer, much along the lines of Gears. Players probably play the single player by themselves but when they enter large areas and other friendly NPCs that fight along side you, they become other players who are playing in that area, just entered that area, or are already in that area (you might be their reinforcements).

Probably when you load a level that contains one of these large areas, the game starts looking for good low ping players or it could just connect to one of a few central servers since players disconnect and connect at random. When you enter the area you are connected to one of those servers ( since you will have to be on steam to play) and since the map is already loaded all if has to do is connect in the background. Once you get to your objective your part might end or move forward in the story, but the others that are still playing that area will still play, you will just be disconnected from them.

I am putting 10 bucks down on this.

Heh, they're going all Assassins Creed in the end of that trailer

The premise is exciting indeed but I'll remain skeptical until I see it in action/try it.

hell yeah! i cant wait! its one of my favorite upcoming games next to alan wake, kane and lynch and heavy rain (i hope theyll release more info soon).

i enjoyed playing through dark messiah as well even though the end was a bit of a let down.

The environments look more realistic then in HL2 from what theyshow in the video, and i also loved the players animations (specially the stabbing part). Still a bit confused about the gameplay, but we will see once its released

god knows how many times ive thought of this idea, but everytime i tell myself that it will eventually get ruined by either your opponents playing stupid so the fun factor gets ruined.

It would be cool if it did work out though

The announcer on it reminds me of Stephen Russell (the guy who voiced Garrat in the Thief series). Anyway, the trailer looks cool. Although the concept still seems to be co-operative play to me.

Co-op doesnt involve taking on player controlled enemies Snipa

Neat but sounds a bit clunky to me overall ;o

The only thing I want to see from france is cookware and a game based on their free form extreme jumping sport.

True - although I don't think that warrants such a big fuss. A recently released (well, beta) Deus Ex mod has beat them to the concept though, if I understand it correctly (other players on the server control NPC's (well, characters that were non player) while one player controls JC Denton).
