    Saw it tonight with my girlfriend who's never been able to stay awake through a bond film, and this one was pushing it too at like 3 hours long it just kept going! However we both thought it was awesome, great film. Best bond film I've seen in a long time.

    The comment he made when he returned to the poker table after being resuscitated from being poisoned was such a nice touch. 'Returns to the table and sits back down' "I'm sorry, that last hand... nearly killed me."

    I enjoyed it a lot, certainly a worthy addition to the series, nice to see a more human side to Bond and watching him actually take damage for once takes away some of the cheese from the old films without ruining any of the old atmosphere. I thought that the new villian was a perfect bond bad guy with the scar and all, I wonder if they'll be someone to rival Jaws in the future. I'm very sceptical about the future seeing that all of Mr Flemming's original books have been done, I have a horrible vision of American scriptwriters being taken on board and shitting on the franchise *shudder*

    Yeah dux, I think it was basically the epitome of the team losing their way. They kind of started going there with The World of Not Enough, but that still remained a decent film. It's good that they seem to have realised this and are taking steps to go back to the 'classy' Bond of old, rather than the high-tech gadget-obsessed Bond we saw as of late. I don't just mean Bond himself, but the atmosphere of the films.

    I think I'm pretty much the only person I know IRL who actually loved Tomorrow Never Dies. It had that touch of classyness to me and didn't go overboard on the action, but still had some great scenes. Seemed closer to the old Bond anyway.

    after seeing and sleeping on it, the thing I actually loved the most was the fact that they had reverted back to the old style whereas bond didnt rely on too much gear to finnish his job. Like riding a sunami wave with a broken piece of a car as a board and a parachute. While beeing chased by the beam of death from the sky (?!).

    I like it this way More face to face with the bad guy, just talking is also very good. ( The torture scene was perfect! )

    What a fucking good film, and all the positive hype is completely justified. And yes, it really did feel a lot more like old Bond with the minuscule use of gadgetry and special effects, and more emphasis on awesome camera work and action.

    I mean, wow. I'd happily watch it again right now. Anyone who can really must see it in the cinema to experience it properly.

    I don't think you can say anything bad about the film, unless you're one of those 'Oh Bond has always been shit' type of people, clueless cretins that they are. Can't wait for DVD release
