Gears of war still.
and hopefully get a wii withing the next few days(doubt it since i bet theyre all sold)

NWN2. Hoping it turns out better than the first one. I like the concept, but not the execution of the first. The new one seems better.
-
Cannot get into NWN2 at all it's so dull.

Viva Pinata and Rainbow Six Vegas at the moment.
Totally loving Pinata, so addictive and it looks amazing~
-
What is piniata like? When I first heard about it I got psyched on it.
Could you compare it to like themepark games and such?

-
Its very much like a simplified Dungeon Keeper, but on a smaller scale so you dont have to move around a huge area like a paranoid fuck.
The biggest surprise for many is probably that its much deeper and more complicated that it might look. From its presentation it looks like a very simple and kid friendly game, but if you really wanna get into it, its fairly complicated with lots of micromanagement.

I've been playing Thief 3 : Deadly Shadows, getting quite close to the Shalebridge Cradle

I really regret being so negative about Thief 3 when I played it. Every time something happened I couldn't help but think of how cool it could've been. But looking back then its still a pretty good game, no way near as good as the first two, but still pretty good
.Its funny, Assassins Creed sorta looks like what I'd want in a new Thief game. Something thats free roaming and actually feels like a world rather than just a couple of scenes connected through alleys.

Half-Life 1: Poke646 - making ready for Vendetta

Half-Life 2: Rock 24 - lacks subtitles and P646 looks better

Otherwise DoD:S

Just got Killzone: Liberation for the PSP and I'm really glad I did. While this game probably wouldn't hold up too well on a home console it feels perfect for the portable system. The top down camera works really nicely and the controls are spot on - by avoiding the temptation to go for a traditional TPS or FPS they've made something vastly more playable for a portable system. In fact, I can't imagine an action game feeling much more at home on the PSP. It looks lovely and ragdoll corpses are a really nice (and unexpected!) treat. I really like the focus on cover and maneouvering around the environment to outposition your enemies, and while it perhaps lacks the depth of something like GRAW, it does raise it above being a mindless shooter (or at least a run-and-gun shooter...its not exactly pushing your tactical prowess).

Really?
hehe glad you like it a lot of testing has gone into this!

I am playing "Tony Hawk - Project 8" on 360 these days.
The last Tony Hawk I played was THPS 2 on my PC (with a gamepad though). I'm not sure if there is enough reason to buy it if you own many of its predecessors (it's similar to the FIFA/NBA/.. series with a new one coming out pretty much every year) but I am having a blast. Such a big world, no loading times, I don't have to shoot people to beat the game - so relaxing and addictive at the same time

Yeah, I'm really enjoying it so far! I take it from your comment that you were working on QA for it? Just finished off the first chapter and did a few challenges, so I dunno whether it will hold my interest for long, but my first impressions are that this is the best action game I've tried on the PSP. Gonna pick up Syphon Filter at some point as I hear it is pretty much the benchmark action game for the system, and MGS:Portable Ops is out here in January, so with the 3 of those all seemingly very good the PSP is building quite a good action game library

Why don't you just wait for EA SKATE and test that out for me? Hopefully it's a bit more realistic.

.I thought it was much better than the first 2 - I liked the free-form gamestyle so you have to travel around to get supplies, it gives you a break in between missions. The storyline is also fantastic - the only thing I don't like is that they didn't have many "real" cutscenes (hand-drawn style ones).
